  1. Yes, I feel like I owe you a nice 6-pack or bottle of wine for the money you saved me! If you're ever in Wisconsin...
  2. Thank you @carlthess40!! The L bracket suggestion worked perfectly! I used these and they were the perfect size: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BS96VXY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I really appreciate it!
  3. Love this!! Thanks @carlthess40!! Were you able to buy black L brackets, or did you paint them yourself? Do you recall what size screws for attaching to the speaker?
  4. Looking to buy 4 SB102U mounting brackets. Thanks!!
  5. Anyone know where I can purchase the SB102U mounting brackets? Seems they are out of stock everywhere. Thanks for any leads!
  6. Just ordered 4 of them. Can't wait for them to arrive. 🤗 2 left for anyone who might be interested.
  7. Thanks @Peter P.! I wonder if I should have put a piece of insulation between the speaker and the duct? How hard is it to take one of these speakers down once it's been screwed in?
  8. Cut the hole to install one of my CDT 5800 speakers and there was an air return duct butting up to the speaker. I was able to push it up just enough to get the speaker to fit. Is there any problem with having a duct run just over the speaker like this?
  9. Bummer that I didn't get to you sooner. 😁
  10. I'm looking to buy up to 4 Klipsch KI-102 speakers for use in home theater setup. Let me know if you have some you're willing to part with. Thanks..
  11. They were suggested - albeit halfheartedly - by someone earlier in the thread (who really thought I needed Heresey's). 😁
  12. I hope to try them out tomorrow. The thing is, even if I like them, I'll probably never stop wondering if I would have liked the KI-102 more. LOL! 😁
  13. Just got my pair of KG-1 in the mail. Haven't listened to them yet, but I sure hope I like them because they look sharp and the finish is a perfect match to my La Scala II. Hmmmm... Now the question of whether to order 2 more KG-1 or try the KI-102 for my back surtounds. Ugh, decisions! [emoji43] [emoji16] Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  14. Hmm...bummer since I already ordered one pair of KG-1. So let's say I end up with one pair of KG-1 and one pair of KI-102, which would you recommend for side surrounds and which for back surrounds?
  15. That looks like an interesting speaker, and the size looks about right for my space. How do you think it would compare to the KG-1 as a surround speaker?
  16. 🤣 Someday though. There is a placement challenge. There is only 12" of space behind my projector screen. I've so far been satisfied without the center. I'm sure someday I'll feel compelled to add one.
  17. If I spend much more time in this forum, I'm afraid I'm gonna end up with 4 Klipschorns as my surround speakers. LOL!! [emoji38] Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  18. Those KPT-100 look pretty nice! Unfortunately, I don't seem to see them for sale anywhere. Any thoughts on where I might pick up a pair?
  19. Wow, impressive! Not sure that would pass the WAF here though. 🤣
  20. I just pulled the trigger on two KG1's for my side surrounds that I found on ebay. If they sound good and I can get them hung on the wall, I think I can make a second pair fit in the back.
  21. Ugh! 😁 I do think I could make those KG-1 fit for my side surrounds. Might be more difficult to fit them as surround back speakers though. Nothing in the current lineup of bookshelves or wall mount that y'all would recommend? 😉
  22. Forgot to add, must fit on a shelf... or better yet be wall mountable.
  23. Looking for 2 surround and 2 surround back speakers to use in a surround setup with La Scala II as my front mains. I also just ordered 4 CDT5800s for Atmos ceiling speakers. I listen to a lot of surround music as well as movies. Thanks for any advice!
  24. Thanks! I have a hard time seeing my better half approving 4 Fortes hung on the ceiling. To be honest, l'm a little scared to even ask. LOL! 😁 I would be interested in seeing what @dtel did though. BTW, I also emailed Klipsch and they recommended the CDT 5800.
