  1. Hello, I bought the Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 system about 18 months ago. It's worked perfect until recently. I have no idea why this started happening, but for some reason the right speaker will get all fuzzy. I really don't think it's the speaker itself, because I've substituted one of the other speakers for it -- still fuzzy. Here's the real confusing part: when I use headphones, the right headphone-speaker-thing is also fuzzy -- so I don't see how it could be the right-speaker wiring, either. The headphones are only plugged into the control-pod's headphone hole. The control-pod-speaker sounds fine alone. The fuzz only comes from the right speaker, and a if I use headphones -- the right headphone speaker. Anybody have any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks a lot, ethic.
  2. Okay, I'm guessing I would need this thing: http://www.klipschonline.com:80/store/product.asp?dept%5Fid=3&pf%5Fid=034 How exactly does this work, though? Do the speakers plug into this, then this plug into the soundcard (or DVD player/game console/etc)? Does anybody have this? Would you recommend it?
  3. Besides appearance, is there any difference between the two models of 4.1s? I ordered them, but I got the ones I didn't want (I wanted the ones without the mesh-covering)... It's no big deal, just wondering. Is everything else still the same?
  4. I don't know a lot about computer-sound stuff. What's the deal with "Digital?" Someone asked me if my new speakers (ProMedia 4.1) were 'digital,' but I didn't know what to tell them. On the back of my soundcard (SB Live 5.1), there's a plug-hole-thing that says "digital." What exactly would I use this for? How would I use it with my PM41s? Can I use it with my PM41s? I read the FAQ, but I didn't understand what it said about a seperate decoder. Where would I get one? What exactly would I get? Thanks a lot.
  5. Hey, it's me again. Nevermind, I figured out the problem. I had to go into some Creative Labs thingie and switch it to 4 speakers instead of two. I feel dumb. Thanks.
  6. Can/will anybody help me with this? I just received my Klipsch Promedia 4.1s (after being on back order for 3 weeks). The two front speakers, as well as the subwoofer work fine; but I'm not getting any sound from the two rear speakers. From what I can tell, they're hooked up correctly. I have a Soundblaster Live 5.1, and I'm pretty sure I have the correct plugs in the correct ports. Green in #1 (green port), Purple in #2 (black port)... Anybody know what's wrong? Thanks a lot. -ethic.
