KSW-10 sub goes dead after 24 hrs, unplug fixes it

I found many google results on this issue but no one ever posts their follow up (perhaps found none). Got this KSW-10 sub circa 2000. It works great for 24 hours and then goes silent. Unplugging the mains voltage and replugging is the only thing that fixes it. This occurs whether the power switch is in ON or AUTO. Since it sounds great for a day, I assume no fuse is blown. And the stable periodicity would tell me this has something to do with a capacitor. Anyone have history on this?
