I have been using the optical out for almost a year :(

Hi friends, I have been having issues setting up RP-HUB1 with my Sony XBR-75X900E on ARC. While I have both ARC & CEC enabled on my RP-HUB1 and BRAVIA Sync (Sony's fancy name for CEC) enabled on the TV, and the Audio System detected in the TV's troubleshooting tool, it fails with the error "Audio system is unavailable. Switching audio to TV speakers" when I tries to switch to external speakers. Is this a compatibility issue? Could this be a settings issue? Both the TV and the RP-HUB1 have the latest firmware.
