I just picked up a great pair of Forte 1 question I have is Has anyone used Forte 1 as a center for their Khorns? I realize other speakers would be better ex Belles. My room is 25x15 I am about 13-14 ft from speakers Thanks in advance for advice

I have a chance to purchase a pair of AR3a speakers. I have heard them many times and want to put them in my vintage setup. I will match it with a pioneer sx 950 I am not familiar with the up grades that have been made. . They have been recapped and woofers refoamed. All of the original potentiometers have been cleaned and reinstalled. However, I bypassed them as they seem to be unusable. The grills are original and the wooden cabinets are in VG+ condition. The pots being bypassed is that a big deal? I do like my equipment to be original but this is a hard deal to turn down. Thanks for your opinions

I have a pair of La Scala from 1979 with AA crossovers. I would like to know what listening value does putting in a new Type AA Pair crossover system would do? I am currently playing the La Scala through a McIntosh MA252 which I am enjoying. Want to know if it is worth the change over? Thanks M O'Neill

Thank to all for your suggestions. Cant believe how clear clean and loud these speakers are. They do sound much better closer to my back walls. Going to try the rugs tomorrow. My initial reaction is the bass is just fine. The only issue is it took me so long to purchase them.

Ok just hooked my new Heresy 3's and I am blown away. Would like a few suggestions Currently in a room that is 15x25. I have the speakers 11ft apart and about 2 1/2 from the back wall. Is this a good spacing? Listen about 12 ft back. They are playing through a Mac MA 252 Any suggestions would be appreciated.
