I am currently serving as a sub/extra trumpet player for the San Antonio Symphony.
I’m also a member of the San Antonio Wind Symphony, and serves as a trumpet player, vice president on the Board of Directors, graphic designer, marketing director and social media manager.
I also serve as soprano cornetist for the San Antonio Brass Band, also serving on the board of directors as president, and also the graphic designer, marketing director and social media manager.
I am also a trumpet master class instructor and private lesson coach at James Madison HS in San Antonio.
I have worked as a freelance marketing consultant, graphic designer and photographer for San Antonio’s annual Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza and various music-related projects in San Antonio and South Texas.
I retired after twenty two years of performing as a trumpet player with various US Army Bands in 35 countries around the world.
I have played trumpet for numerous events that have been televised worldwide. Events include Super Bowl XX half time show (1986), performed Taps at the 65th Anniversary of D-day in Normandy, France and the US National Anthem at the 2002 Pocono 500 in Pennsylvania. I also performed with the international group “Up With People”, the Altenburg Music Festival Orchestra in Germany and the Camerata Carolina Orchestra at the University of Heidelberg.
I also served as marketing director, graphic designer and photographer for the US Army Europe Band and Chorus and the 323rd Army Band “Ft. Sam’s Own.”
I have received numerous awards and decorations for his outstanding performances throughout his two decades of service to US Army Bands.
I’m a proud father of two, aged 21 and 16. I enjoy time with my kids, basketball, football, movies and travel!
