    I am looking for a replacement K8K woofer for my newly acquired KG4 speakers, wanted to check to see if anyone had one or knew where to find one.

    I recently swapped a pair of my thrift store Polk Towers for a friends KG4s that needed some love. I have done some repairs and am looking for a replacement K-8-K woofer and haven't been able to find any used. Wanted to see if anyone here knew where to find one.

    I think I am going to go with the topping amp and then get the Schiit Modi DAC when I can afford it. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

    So if I end up going with the A-100 I wouldn't need a preamp. Would it be a good idea to get a DAC since I am planning on streaming a lot of music? I have heard the Schiit Modi 3 is a pretty good budget DAC, any thoughts on that?

    Could I just buy the amp at first and use that until I save up enough money for the PT-100? Also, what exactly does a preamp do, and how necessary is it? Sorry about the newbie questions. -Zach

    I have the speakers set up in my bedroom, so a smaller space. I use CD player and Streaming mostly, but have a turntable i occasionally use New or used is fine for me, i do like the look and feel of the older amps I am in Denver, Colorado -Zach

    I am new to the HiFi audio scene and have been looking for an amp/preamp combo or integrated amp to replace my old Pioneer VSX-D508 reciever for a 2 channel Klipsch Heresy 1 setup (music only, no movies). I am looking for something under $250 if possible. I have had the Nobsound MS-10D MKII recommended, but have seen very mixed opinions on that, and was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with one. I also am not sure whether to try to go with tube amplifiers or solid state amps. Thanks in advance!

    I recently inherited a set of Heresy 1s from my dad, and am pretty new to the hifi audio scene. I am looking for a solid budget amp to run them (Somewhere in the $200-$350 range). I am currently using an old pioneer reciever and would like an upgrade. Also if there is any other advice for the Heresy 1s that might be good for me to know, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
