RSB-8 times out when paused - won't power up

I've got a RSB-8 that does the same thing. Reading forums and reviews - this is a very prevalent issue. I'm surprised there's been no action from Klipsch . I'll try the firmware update. If that doesn't work, it's getting returned for being defective.
