Although these don't come up for sale often, I have had really good results with a used 100 watt/ch Emerald Physics 100.2SE on Khorns, LaScalas and Heresy speakers.
RCA and balanced XLR inputs, bridgeable mono switch...dead quiet and velvet smooth.
Here's a typical price:

I have read lot about using a center speaker with Khorns.
I am still confused whether there is a different recommendation (speaker and/or center channel signal propagation) for music versus HT?
Is PWK's L & R channel "summing" better for music versus center channel produced under 5.1/7.1 etc. home theater processor?
I am only really interested in music. What are folks using for the center channel source (I will be using an LS center)?

I'm probably naive, but I could never tell whether Captain Beefheart's failure to deliver was intentional, or was because he overestimated his own capabilities.
Intentional...

Nothing comes close to the Bottlehead
Believe it or not, that one also sounds fantastic with the old Shure V15 type IV too (no step up required; I also have had good luck with the Bottlehead Seduction phono stage)

Don't have any experience with that cartridge, but here's a good multi post discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of the rega tt/ania combo:

I must say your "ancillary" equipment (LS, QS, Bottlehead, etc.) should go a long way to bringing out the best in any cartridge.

One owner! Better move fast on these....no affiliation:

I have seen some interest on the forum in an entry level 300b amp. No affiliation.
Includes some good tubes for swapping around:

I will point out what you already know; The variables in sound depending on the combinations really require the ability to try out a prospective preamp with the ability to return after careful listening over several days.
I have a 300b PP and a set of EL34 SETs. I have had excellent results with passive preamps, tubes and SS preamps with both; all very different sounding.
All sounding better than using just my Benchmark DAC volume control, even given the shorter signal path.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Here's a link to a very nice passive preamp that won't set you back a lot of $:

Not a broadcast tube but the Russian 6C33 military based tube is a formidable candidate
Here's a link to a set in Seattle from a very reputable seller, if anyone is interested...

anxious to see what others say as I am unfamiliar personally with the components...that being said, why not run coax out (digital) to the parasound and xlr to the yamaha? Direct signal to both.
-
loose crossover wire? loosen each and re-tighten.

These are pretty highly regarded (at least there is a "best offer" option...lol):

Probably best to post in "garage sale" area on the forum...
Here's a few pics for those that are unfamiliar
One interesting note...the drivers are all Bozak proprietary and very interesting construction techniques for the day...Rudy Bozak was a contemporary to Paul Klipsch...although maybe had different design philosophies...LOL

Or what does JBL have that is similar in terms of size and performance to the K402?
Probably a better question for the Lansing Heritage site:

Don’t run the AA with the EV drivers or the Atlas two piece phase plug K-55-V
@Deang (or others) How about the 55G with the AA? If not, why not?
Double checking how to connect speakers

on the input: Red (#2) to + from your receiver/amp and black (#1) to - from your receiver/amp.
Right or left channel depending on which speaker is connected to the xover network in question.
Both xovers should be identical.
