Didn't bother the reviewer: "While I noticed bass missing on certain electronic music and hip hop recordings, I rarely missed it; some La Scala owners, though, use a subwoofer. I should add that, despite being limited, the Klipsches' bass is in no way wimpy: When called upon, the big horns emitted bass notes as stentorian and downright scary as any speakers I've lived with."

La Scala Tri Amp speakers - what to do?
hanksjim1 replied to ChrisR's topic in Technical/Restorations
Suggest you post them here in the garage sale section (with a link to Deang for factory crossovers if so desired)...where are you located? -
https://eugene.craigslist.org/ele/7572669841.html Posting just in case these are legit.... Posted in Eugene, OR but location is listed as Portland suburb. Typical caution, due diligence recommended as always with CL. Heresys are a common scam country wide....

I have read that most tube amps are OK with no load, as long as the gain is not turned up? True? -
@MicroMaraBrings back fond memories...I saw Weather Report open for an Earth, Wind and Fire concert; Rhode Island Civic Center, 1975...RTF; Still my favorite concert, and a band that fits well with the Weather Report and the Stanley Clarke album genre, Also belongs on “core collection of essential recordings" IMO...BTW beautiful TT setup!
