  1. It might be cheap headset but when plugged into the promedia 2.1 computer speakers the subwoofer on floor still plays even though the speakers are, of course, not playing. Could this be windows 10 sound driver issue on Lenovo desktop computer?
  2. Ha That's a good question and nope doesn't seem to make a difference and I'm for sure it's one of the easy-kind of repairs (maybe-for me though) i won't get too far ahead. But since the mention of the (pod) or board that the right speaker sits on that can be easily peeled back, it's likely something to do with it there. Like Air-spray (can) clean it and the volume knobs as i saw video that that i'm sure has a layer of dust involved. Weird thing, last night the sound came through for a couple of mins. it then faded and sputtered back and then remained gonners-ville so it is likely a maintenance or hygienne issue?
  3. So long as the left and right speakers are in their proper 'left" "right" correct when testing them out, does it matter about Black and Red which goes where because as far as the wires THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE i read in the manual something of striped red and black? Nuh ugh not in my set of speakers have i ever nor have not seen any difference. Since my right speaker went out, of course, i am wondering if it does matter and if it did so much then why isn't there a little bit easier way to identify same. (I mean during this Lock down-for-good in California it doesn't matter on whichever...oh excuse that as part of other topic/other place) But any idea or if there's a difference at this point to consider or way to find such difference of the black and red insertions on the back of the sub woofer and it would figure that hmm yes i just bet there must be a purpose for red and black and i just bet that they've made it that much more difficult for me to be able to TELL THE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Hello, the answer to the question and thanks for asking is no i don't have the wireless bluetooth pro media 2.1 and I use or have wire, plug into the outlet. Btw, what is a power conditioner? I will, of course, follow up with a StartPage search (or google) and Thanks again.
  5. Even tonight as I was sitting watching video the neighbors started playing their music inside their place which we share the same patio so that between my place a one room self unit, and their house or in other words i rent the back house and they the front and the Pro media 2.1 speakers pick up their music and forget my watching video or playing my own. I can turn my computer OFF (and might as well) and still the Pro media 2.1 speakers that we're not suppose to turn off PLAYS THEIR MUSIC STILL! THAT'S WHAT I REGRET PURCHASING THESE SPEAKERS even though it was a good deal, yes, and that's the drawback too or for me it is. I mean this is an extension to their device or whatever audio they play, this plays and IT OVERRIDES MY OWN CONTROL! So, how is that for unknown about before-hand to buy some speakers that oh yes, was or is great but not in that way i'll tell you that.
  6. I have right now similar problem. Because my speakers kept getting hijacked from neighbors playing music outside on the patio where i rent a one-room place and people across the other side bring music to patio and then it plays on my speakers even after shutting down computer. This has gone on and while the only thing to do is turn volume down or unplug them and since i wanted to watch video i was watching i unplugged, replugged and it still carried their music and so this day same routine, un plugged and left 5 then 10 mins. and still now-no sound. It's like i may have blown fuse by unplugging them? That's something to have to resort to doing that because they are being taken over by some neighbor who's outside my place like a fair amount of distance to their back door where they bring their speakers that thunder for party or whatever and i unplug and probably blew fuses in the speakers(?) or more. Because it's been well into an hour (now or at the time of this posting) and still dead silence. I'm not very mechanical so that's another strike 2
  7. Thanks for the input WMcD, i don't know if there is an AM broadcast station nearby and i don't have an automobile and when it started tonight (right now) i unplugged the speakers to get it to stop with the playing of music and then rep-lugged speakers back in and now no sound! This is impossible to have these kind of problems with a set of dang computer speakers. I thought the technology is so great these days. But to have speakers you can't turn off only accounts for them picking up these radio stations?
  8. I have the Klipsch pro media 2.1 and without the computer on (and this may sound a little crazy) but there is a take-over as if I've piped in to a party that happens to have Spanish party music playing and people clapping and singing along with the music. This has happen several times but this is the first time i've actually unplugged the PC that i have the speakers connected to and was surprised that it kept right on playing as if it wasn't even or needed no computer connect in order to play and obviously did not! So, with leaving the speakers plugged in at all times that I have, this is the 1st time i unplugged the speakers to kill the sound that I believe is tapped into a frequency?? No joke.
