There are all kinds of deals on the internet and on Ebay. Is most of this equipment refurbished? Should I buy on the internet?

I am building a small theater room (12 x 18). I want the deep bass sound. Do I need the Reference series or will the Synergy be okay?

Where should I position my in-wall speakers? In the ceiling (12 feet) or in the wall for best sound. I plan on getting the SCW-3 so I can get more bass.Textc>
