  1. What's the high frequency drop like off axis? Maybe 15 to 30 degrees? Are we looking at 16 - 17 khz or 13 - 15 khz? I don't always seat in the middle.
  2. Looking at the specs, the 37f is crossed over at 550hz and the Forte at 650hz. So the 12 inch Forte III woofer is covering a wider range compared to the 37f. I may be reading the specs wrong, but I think that's what it means. I know specs isn't everything, but it's what's available online.
  3. What particular areas will the Forte III excel over the Palladium 37f? The Palladium has three 7" woofers vs one 12" for the Forte, would this mean lower distortion over the Forte in Freq below 500 hz? I would also think the three 7" woofers will be lighter and faster and translates to better transparency vs a possibly heavier single 12" woofer?
  4. How will these speakers compare to a used Palladium 37f? Been wanting to upgrade my bookshelf speakers and the Forte iii and used 37f are about the same price. You guys think the Forte iii being designed 10 years later by engineers with 10 years more experience will sound better? Maybe better resolution, better bass control, treble, better materials and upgraded driver design, etc...
  5. I am wanting the best 2.0/2.1 multimedia speakers for less than $500. I am not too familiar with pc speakers, but I just want the best pc speakers for < $500. The Promedia 2.1 is one of my options ofcourse as well as the MegaWorks 215. Any other options out there?
  6. I mean does the break-in concept of speakers apply to other audio equipment?
  7. So are Break-in Cd's any good? Some online stores sell cd's specifically made to break in speakers, it is suppose to be better than playing normal music cd's.
  8. I read some article talking about break-in cd's, and how it helps to significantly reduce your break time. Anybody know if break-in cd's are effective? It's suppose to playback some carefully crafted sound which reduces time in break-in periods. Any recomended products?
  9. Which produces better sound quality. A audio only cd player(Pioneer, Kenwood, etc ~$150) or a computer passing digital audio to a sblive card from a cdrom drive. Which produces clearer, better and more distinct sound?
