  1. Not enough in the one a day, take extra. This will never go away completely, all you can do is treat the symptoms and do what you can to keep in in check. I have to wear steel toed steel shank boots at work all day, inserts help some but at the end of the day I can't wait to get them off. I have some comfy moccasins I put on as soon as I'm off the clock. We have lockers at work so my boots hard hat etc. stay there,I wear my slip on moccasins for the drive to and from work. The guys at work give me a hard time about my slippers. lol:) but I don't give a rats *** what they say.😌
  2. I remember that band, weren't they on Led Zeps label Swan Song Records ?
  3. Gosh 40 years,I'm getting old. lol I've seen BOC many times, they were a regular at the Oregon Jam Summer concerts at the U of O .
  4. I look out my window at her every day (weather permitting).
  5. I shop eBay a lot, generally I only pay with PayPal and no side deals. If they want private email transactions they can buzz off. That's why eBay has messaging through their system. With PayPal you can always get your money back if someone tries to screw you.

    Guns Guns Guns

Those asshats wouldn't know a "military grade" weapon if it bit them on the ***. Just another feel good do nothing left wing bunch of hooey. There is no such thing as an assault rifle,it's just a rifle that can be used as a defense weapon just as sure as an assault weapon depending on who's hands it's in. The same can be said for a claw hammer or about any other tool and those so called " assault rifles" have many cousins not dressed in black that can be just as deadly. There have been semi-auto hand guns and rifles around for well over a century, the guns aren't the problem the people these days are. If some idiot wants to hurt people he or she will find a way, there were no guns involved on 911 or in Oklahoma City, the Boston Marathon wasn't gun related and the list goes on. What a great idea, lets take away the rights of law abiding citizens to protect their homes and families with these weapons so that only criminals who don't give two shits about the law will have them.😠
  7. I bought a brand new Harley touring bike in Sept. and planned on doing a long road trip this summer for the first time since before the Obama era recession, now I'm not even sure if I'll still have a job this summer. Motorcycle touring is my thing,my last new bike I bought in 2000 and she's got close to 200,000 miles on the clock now.(Still in my garage at this point) 2020 I thought was going to be my best work year ever,a new job late 2019 with great union benefits and pay, plenty of hours with time and a half over 8 and double time over 10. It was all looking great so I pulled the trigger on a new bike for the first time in 20 years and made plans. We've had our hours cut back and now there's rumors of pending layoffs,I'd be one of the first to go with less than a year of service. I'd have to sell the new bike and a vacation would be out of the question. Even if that doesn't happen will parks I want to visit be open, will I be able to get motel rooms, will I be able to afford it working short hours? I dunno, this whole thing is pretty depressing and so far I don't have it as bad as a lot of other folks. My biggest worry is losing medical benefits for the wife and I if I get laid off. Vacation? Well I guess that's a wait and see, least of my worries for now.
  8. Cool little sporty car,not many around that's for sure.
  9. I'd be making a fast trip to the marina, that is considered essential supplies.
  10. I turned 62 in 2018 and still plan on working 'till 70 if not a bit longer. I dunno, might go part time after 70 just for fun money,we'll see how things look then. I'll be 64 Oct. 1st and still feel strong and in good shape for my age, climbed all over this load today throwing cables chains and binders on. Hard work keeps me in shape and I plan to live to be 100.
  11. Nah,same O'l same O'l here. Still working driving truck in the city, can't wait to get back to my home way out in the country at the end of the day. I don't see that changing any and I'm not living in fear now nor will I later. Maybe I'll cuss traffic more when things get back to normal after getting used to not fighting it so much, that part has been a silver lining in this mess for me.
  12. Looks like a Teac reel to reel and some kind of 8 track there,so what is that black face vintage receiver? What are the small speakers,KLH or maybe Advents?
  13. I've run into that a lot so I use ebay and amazon more often than not. I live in a rural area so online shopping vs in store saves me a lot of time and money, some things I want in my hand before I buy so I'll go to a store but a lot I just order and it's at my doorstep not long after. At lot of stores will ship if you order online but aren't really well set up for it so it takes them time and time is money.
  14. Have you tried ebay, lots of free shipping on things there.

    Bob Dylan

Been about 25 years since I saw him and he's coming to town this summer, might check it out might not. Never been a big fan but I did enjoy him live better than on recordings,he was traveling with the Dead when I saw him.
  16. Get well soon, hope this is taken as a little levity and provides a smile.
  17. I saw it live in 1970,opening act was Black Oak Arkansas.
  18. I think it was Elvis on the radio,my mom sent my grandmother a letter (I lave it here somewhere) in which among other things she said I like that new rock and roll stuff from Elvis Presley. I was about one and a half to two years old, around 1957-1958 at the time.
  19. Great score! You couldn't buy the birch plywood for that.
  20. RIP KR, I guess he just dropped out because of the condition his condition was in. He had a pretty good run for a gambler.
  21. She's been pretty quiet for a long time now,I caught this steam eruption about 20 years ago one day when I stayed home from work with the bug. Didn't hear anything, just looked out the window and it was going on. I didn't have a very good camera back then unfortunately.
