  1. Just search for zip cord on Amazon.
  2. I buy 14AWG zip cord in bulk so it is cheap.
  3. I have always been using 14AWG zip cord for all of my Heritage speakers.

  5. I had quite a few people been PM'ed me about the two free Heresy speakers. So I just want to let everyone know that both pair of Heresy speakers have been spoken for. Both pair had been picked-up/delivered.
  6. Do you think you can find this turntable and donate it to me? 😇
  7. This is the most beautiful innards of an amplifier I have ever seen!
  8. What??? You didn't know that??? I thought this already happened since the beginning of time!
  9. The problem with this turntable is that it would not be very practical. Once the first side of the record is finished playing, you have to turn off the turntable, wait for the feet to rise and carry out the start-up procedure all over again to play the second side of the record. It is very time-consuming and hinders the listening experience immensely. In my opinion, it is not worth the price and the listening experience!
  10. I would have to disagree with the authors. In my opinion, I think the Klipschorns are the most significant and the best speakers ever made.
  11. But I just gave away two free pairs...🙄
  12. I thought I saw a pair look almost exactly like this pair somewhere in Florida but I can't find it anymore.

    Vaping

I don't smoke anymore (can't stand the smell). But I still drink, speed, don't yield and sometime pass stop sign. I am not aggressive but It is just a part of life.

    Vaping

I quit smoking almost 25 years ago. I used to smoke about 2.5 to 3 packs a day. My doctor told me I still have trace amount of nicotine in my body.
  15. That is interesting. The schematic Marvel provided is Electra Print but the technician replaced R10 and R13 with the resistors from Manequest parts list. erik2A3 confirmed that my Moondogs indeed have Electra Print OPTs. I trust the technician but I am wondering why he replaced R10 and R13 from Manaquest parts list? My Moondogs seemed to work great and sonically better then before.
  16. Anyone collecting this Barbie?
  17. They look beautiful but I have too many Heresy speakers...
  18. Actually, as far as I can remember, I have only left the amps on twice (without turning them off) for a periods of maybe two to three weeks each time. I forgot to mention that he replaced the R10 and R13 resistors since they have the wrong values. He also replace all of the 10uF/400V caps with 10uF/630V caps. As of today, the amps are almost dead quiet. The sonics did not change but got better.
  19. I am not going to play a lot of materials similar to 1812 Overtune. Per Deang and JohnA posts, I don't think I will need a subwoofer at all. My Vinyl Telarc will be here this Saturday. This will be a test for my just repaired moondogs.
  20. I finally got my Moondogs back. They were burned in for about 3 days. All of the caps have been replaced. All of the sockets and pin holders have been tighten. The technician told me that according to the schematic, two resistors were wrong. R10 was suppose to be 2K not 1K and R13 was suppose to be 1.8K not 1K. Other then that they sound incredible! The longer they are burned in, the better they get. Sonically, they sound better then before. They cost me a total of $450 for parts and labors. I am extremely happy with the sound. Here are photos of both amps.
  21. I just ordered the Vinyl Telarc version. let's see how impressive it is.
  22. So I should be able to play 1812 Overture on Klipschorns with no problem. Any problem playing it with my flea amps (2A3 Moondogs)?
  23. I listen to quite a bit of classical but they never go that low as you mentioned. What about material such as 1812 Overture?
  24. I always thought that speakers have no sensitivity only how efficient they can be.
