  1. I have been contemplating about adding an LF-10 Pro subwoofer to my 2-Channel system. But the Klipschorns were so natural and balance that every time I listen to the music the bass just blend it so perfect that I forgot the subwoofer was even there. So the question is, is the subwoofer even necessary?
  2. I get the Moondogs back after my tube technician is done repairing them. I live in Panama City, Florida! I am an American. I speak English.
  3. I did a lot of reading and research before I settle on a 2-Channel system. I wanted a pair of speakers with very high efficiency. I tried many different brands and listened for many many hours. In the end, I picked Klipsch. My very first pair of speakers were the Klipschorns. They were a very rough pairs of speakers but I got them for cheap. I had them for over a decade before I gave them to a good friend for cabinets reveneering and replacing the crossover networks. The pair I current have is my second pair. I never like solid state and integrated amp for music so I chose to go with tube mono blocks. Since I didn't have the luxury of buying many different pairs of tube amps, I had to spend a lot of times research about the different topologies and read endless reviews. I wanted something with low power since I have high efficient speakers so I chose 2A3 SET. After searching for a longtime for a good pair of 2A3 SET amps, I finally settled for the Welborne Labs Moondogs 2A3 SET mono blocks. I generally listen to rock, vocal jazz and classical. I never look back after nearly two decades.
  4. I have a pair of Heresy speakers on my computer desk. The desk is about 65” wide, 33” depth and 30” height. I sit about 2.5 feet away from the speakers. I don’t have desktop speakers. Sometimes when I listen to music while reading the Klipsch Forum, I forgot what I was reading.
  5. Both pairs of Klipsch Heresy speakers are now spoken for. I will arrange for delivery/pickup some time next week. Enjoy!
  6. This pair of Klipsch Heresy is spoken for. 1 pair left.
  7. I only have one set of boxes available for shipping. You would have to pay for the shipping. I can have one set pack up and ready for shipping with your shipper. You are welcome to pick them up from my location. As of today, they are still available. I have not heard any word that they are being reserved for anyone. I can provide year, color and serial numbers for the speakers if anyone is interested. I would have preferred to give these speakers to Klipsh Forum members that have been here for at least a while. I wanted these members to have the joy of listening to Klipsch speakers. I would be really happy knowing these speakers will be put to good use. Just a little something for you guys to be happy about.
  8. Okay, guys! I love Klipsch speakers and I only listen to Klipsch speakers. And I only collect Heritage. I currently have a total of 8 pairs of Heresies. I have too many Heresies! So in the spirit of giving, I'd to give away free two pairs of Heresies to members of the Klipsch forum (especially those who don't have Heresy and would like to listen to one). They are first come first serve. You would have to provide for transportation. Enjoy!
  9. um...I am not kidding! Several times when I turned up the volumes of those subs, I noticed my room was dim and all of the sudden it was brighten a little.
  10. What happen when I run my subs and the lights brighten?
  11. The same goes for speakers. "Do speakers sound the same"? Yes, a resounding yes! Be it horns or cones speaker. Each and every speaker will sound the same. --Maybe a true story!
  12. Photos would help. Also, if you open the back of one speaker, you can tell how thick it is and the type of wood.
  13. I still have two original pairs of Heresy I in excellent condition with consecutive serial numbers. I bought both for $350 and $400 respectively. In my opinion, I don’t think they commence with such high prices.
  14. No, but I want the speaker to look nice. However, it may affect the sound if I keep looking at the speaker's blemish and it distracts my music.
  15. Amazing job. I will use the 0000 steel wool and Watco oil. Do you think I should redo both speakers to have the exact match?
  16. Apparently you guys are such a great group of very knowledgeable people. I have learn a lots during my short time on this forum. Please don’t fight each other and let make the Klipsch Forum the best there is!
  17. My area was okay for the most part. Lots of roofs have to be replaced. I am still fighting with my insurance company to replace the roof and I have hired an attorney to take care of the matter. Apparent they are the worst company since they have no experience with hurricane. Tyndall is not that bad when compare to New Mexico beach. It is literally destroyed.
  18. My Moondogs are in the hands of my technician. All I can do now is wait for them to comeback and see the result.
  19. How much do you want for your “crappy” LaScala (if Youthman doesn’t want it)?
  20. I had five Heresies in my master bedroom home theatre system. In my opinion they are excellent considering only 2/3 of the space is being used.
  21. I would only prefer 3 front and 2 rear in my setup. I have never used anything other than Heritage.
  22. I don't know yet what the new replacement will be for all of the new parts. He will let me know soon and I trust that he will use the best of parts. Once I get the Moondogs back, I will take a few photos of the amplifiers' inner.
