Hello all! Here is what I got: Receivers: ONKYO TX-NR-838 YAMAHA RX-V679 Speakers Front: 2 KLIPSCH R-26PF (self powered) 1 KLIPSCH R-25 C Speakers Rear: 2 ONKYO SKB 980 Sub: 1 EPISODE ES-SUB ELE 8 - 110 I just want a simple 5.1 set-up and I know that it's not ideal to mix active and passive speakers. The Onkyo has analog pre-outs, so the simplest thing to do would be to connect the Klipsch R-26PFs to the ONKYO via RCA cables? I understand, that using powered speakers is equivalent to using an external power amp? Anyone have a similar setup? Any other/better suggestions? Thank you in advance!
