So wait. This Yung SD200 is a drop-in replacement amp and crossover plate is a direct replacement for the SW8 amp/crossover plate? Same plate dimensions to fit the existing cutout in the cabinet?
My SW8ii started making warbly warbly noises with constant hum, and the bass cuts in and out like a bad transistor. I loved this sub, but it's been in storage for about a decade. It worked great when I put it in storage!
I'd love to get my SW8ii working again. I don't need a lot of volume, but it sure would be nice to have that bottom end back, and I hate to spend real money on a lesser sub to get it.
Failing that, I suppose I can bust out the soldering iron and look for bad capacitors on the Klipsch amp plate myself.
