  1. I used TSI (https://www.tsishipping.com). They offer a white glove blanket wrap service. They have options available for building crates on site etc but these were too expensive for me. The blanket wrap service worked well. They wrapped them and added added protective cardboard on the edges. Cost was $800 shipping Portland Oregon to New Orleans and took a little over a month to arrive.
  2. Just a little update. I now have the khorns at home and preliminary set up. I gave them a good rub down with rejuvenating oil as suggested. On the hunt for a good integrated amp. Anyone have any thoughts on a Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II?
  3. Thanks everyone. They are in transit now. Looks like some fun to be had for sure. I’ll provide updates as I have them.
  4. I saw the 2-channel sub and will do some reading. I guess I’d like to use them for stereo and home theater. How would these perform as studio monitors?
  5. I do have 90 degree corners with ~ 4 ft down each wall. I would be shipping them separately and not part of a household shipment. I am interested in any other tips about replacing capacitors or enhancing the speaker anyway. Currently they are being powered with an Optimus STAV-3280. Any suggestions on alternatives?
  6. I am currently in Oregon and plan on shipping them to Louisiana and keeping them if it’s worth the cost. Thanks for your replies.
  7. Thanks for the info so far. I have attached pictures. They are in excellent condition and were originally purchased by my uncle. How would i determine if I have upgraded crossovers or drivers? Let Et me know if pictures of anything specific would be more helpful.
  8. I recently inherited some Klipschorn speakers and would like to know more about them such as value, year made etc. Sticker inside says: Type - K-B-W0 Serial - 6M290 Thanks in advance for any assistance.
