[Snell Acoustics Type E/iii - Chicago Area]

I know, I know, this doesn't have to do with Klipsch. It does have to do with high efficiency speakers, however. I have a very nice condition pair of Snell Type E/iii speakers for sale for $350, local pickup in Chicago area.

 

91db Sensitivity with a very spacious and warm, full sound, and dynamic speakers also. These days a brand called Audio Note UK licenses the design and sells them for many thousands of dollars.

All, for consideration is my Box Furniture 5 shelf rack in Anigre. Really nice looking stand. 44" high, 23" wide, 18" deep.

 It was a dealer demo in its previous life so it has a couple scratches on it, as pictured. I would like to free up the space in my living room and consolidate my hifi footprint, and have less stuff,  so would like to find a buyer in the Chicago area. Given its size it would be local pickup/reasonable driving distance. Some pictures attached.

@Mighty Favog how recently? Also did you replace the caps and upgrade the tweeters per @Emile suggestion with Bob Crites? Just trying to scope out the cost of doing that... @Emile  maybe you can weigh in here?
