  1. H II's are not well regarded.  At that price you'd have a lot of room for improvement though.  Klipsch actually made an upgrade kit for the 2's to bring them up to the spec of III's.  I think they might still have the kits on the Klipsch site?  You can look it up or email their customer service.

Everyone, thank you for your replies. Does anyone here know of any used Klipsch Heritage speakers for sale in the Philly area? Thanks.

I look around the Philly area on occasion and often see really good deals on CL and Facebook Marketplace.  As always, do your due diligence and be safe.
    There's a pair of H1's in Universal City.  Kind of over-priced (I wouldn't pay more than $600-700).

    I say post away...caveat emptor/buyer beware...deals are out there...

I responded to a CL ad a couple months ago and picked up a pristine VPI Scoutmaster with Shelter 501 cart for $300 cash...I figured no way it could be legit, but met the elderly seller with cash in hand (seller had original bill of sale receipts in his name, so not hot).  The well off seller didn't use it and just wanted to see it go to a good home...mission accomplished!

Agreed.  I picked up a pair of Heresy 1's a guy had listed for $25.  He had no idea what they were.  I offered him $200 as a goodwill gesture, but still a great deal for me.
