Can K-9-K be replaced by a K-2-K on my KG2 WQ speaker?

Hi folks, one of my KG2 WQ speaker just broke a woofer. From the specs I found on the internet, it looks like they mount K-9-K woofers: could they be replaced by K-2-K, or am I talking rubbish??? Thanks a lot from a very sad Klipsch owner....
