TasDom thank you for the new link to join. I checked the 2 you sent and the 7 although pretty high sold already. But now I have an additional place to check other than the 3 ceptorman sent me.

I am absolutely open to something else. Someone suggested Emotiva and I did a lot of research is only reason I said Emotiva. Now I'd take a Krell in a heartbeat but after several of you wonderful guys on here helped me complete my Klipsch 11.2 set I am pretty sure Krell is way way out of my league. If you have experience with another brand 7 channel amp please ket me know.

I posted on the Emotiva forums as none were availiable for sale. So hopefully between there and here someone wants to upgrade.

When I joined about a month ago I posted that I was looking for some RF7's. Well on the good news side one of the many great new friends I have made on here Like BillyBob has turned me on to speakers that were great deals and have helped me complete my system. Now for this warning. A person on here contacted me about his RF7's. I'm not going to name him yet because after telling him I was looking for Cherry per the post and he had maple...he gave me the Email of a man named Richard. Richard sent me pictures of an "A" set of RF7 ii's that looked mint in a great room. Everything looked clean. Great price I felt for 1050.00 delivered. Well he immediately wrote back ..ok put the money in my bitcoin acct and send me your address. Well I'm 62 and although I was born during the day, I wasn't born yesterday. While I sat stunned wondering how exactly this bitcoin thing worked...I wasn't about to send out money with no middleman or at least great references from here. He and...the first man then sent me Richard's phone number for texting to make it easier. I recieved 3 texts asking for my address so we could get on with it. I then told both of them, which actually could be one in the same..I didn't feel comfortable about the whole Bitcoin thing and offered to come pick them up so I could hear and see them. This next move cinched it for me. Richard turns out was leaving to go out of town until March so that wouldn't be possible. This was long enough so I will cut it short. Neither one has contacted me back about me going "after" he returns in march. I hate to judge but this was surely a con. So please buyer beware.

Trying not to be a worry wort but...doesn't the listing seem a little to good to be true? I have a great center an RC 64 and had asked him if he'd be willing to sell without that, which was a no. Then I looked the one he has up and it is really highly rated. Like neck in beck with mine having 2-8" drivers. So damn I could sell that separately then it would be a great deal!!!

Thanks for your concern. I'm still trying to contact him. I left 2 small messages yesterday. They are still listed so again hopefully he just been busy. I mean right before he went dark he was aggressively promoting/selling them to me with many individual pics and a suggestion to go to youtube to watch a video comparison. So...meanwhile I check my email regularly!!! Lol

I asked to see a pic of the rear sticker as I wasn't sure if it was an original, or a ii, or a iii and I'm not that stupid I was pretty sure it wasn't one of the newer ones at that price. You 2 look great on that bike. The jacket and back are in sync too. I also own only Arai custom helmets! I guess the smartest guys all like the same stuff!!! Lol

I just new I loved you guys here. First the mutual love of the finest speakers in the world, now this ??? I'm 62 and my journey with Honda is long! My very first "adult bike" was a Yamaha 650. Thought the extended forks and easy rider look was the way to go. Sold that back breaker within the year. Fell in love with the brand new 83 or 84 vfr 750 red white and blue Honda Interceptor..sounded bad and looked bad and boy was it a bike. Sold it to my best friend who was envious after racking up about 40k miles in a year and bought a brand new 1000r interceptor. Still have that garaged and now own a 2003 Honda 1100xx blackbird. Best bike I've ever rode.I love you guys!

If he agrees with letting me hear them I'll be headed that way asap!

Thank you Ceptorman, that's why I want to pickup a pair of cherry rf7's. Yes I have OCD. My rear surrounds are Black Ash and odd man out (except the black surrounds) so per your advise the rf7's will replace the rf83's spot and move to the back and I'll sell the black ash 82's. I found another pair of the 83's if you are looking. Only 800.00 for the pair which is cheap as far as I can see. Just let me know I'll send you a link.

Thank you for your VERY quick reply. They sound pretty good but I know in my heart with the added power amp and extra 2 channels the 3080 will add it will hopefully sound a lot better. I find it hard to believe my 1070 is actually pushing all of this

Last design question. I want to pick up 2 cherry RF7's. At that point I'll sell my 2 black ash RF 82's. So...should I put the 2 Rf7's in the front and the 2 RF83's in the back or opposite?

Still working on it. Next house will have a dedicated Theater and I'm going to steal ideas from you guy's. Lol. Meanwhile I share my "TV room" with my daughter her husband and my 2 grandchildren. I keep the covers on my Klipsch to save my cones but I have pulled hot wheels galore out of my ports lol OMG. RF 83's as fronts RF 82's as rear surround RC 64 as center RS 52's as surround RS 62's as rear presence RSW-15 sub about to add a second in a week.

I'm about to upgrade to a Yamaha RX A3080. I'm also going to add an Emotiva XPA 7 gen 3 amp. Here is where I'm confused so please be gentle! The avr has only 2 balanced inputs and 2 outputs. The amp has 7...the 2 on the avr are shown as front. See I'm lost, do the other 5 channels not need or require balanced? Reading forums balanced is best for long runs??? My amp will be next to my avr? What, a foot maybe??? Is balanced necessary?? I finally understand what it does. I just dont know if my application requires it! Thanks ahead of time. You guys continually amaze me.
