Thank you for help again. I love my big Klipsch speakers. I don't know model numbers of my old speakers. The first pair I paid $800 a pair

money) they were unfinished plywood they were the best Soeakers I've ever owned I gave them away, mistake. I used them for 25 or so years. Then I got some 5 foot finished oak Klipsch speakers I remember they were $1,200 a Speaker. They are in storage for the short term. They are still great. One of the reasons I love Klipsch, my Speakers seem to last forever, they out live all the electronics (although when I find something I like I stick to it even my out dated electronics). The kids in the family make fun; I'm still a stereo guy with music. I'm not an audiophile with trained ears like you all. I used to love going to a Stereo Store and work with people with a real interest and a good ear. Those days are gone. That is why I'm uptight about even going to a powered Bookshelf Speaker. Once the electronics are gone the speaker is too, I would guess. I went to Best Buy to listen to what I could, they were a bit in your face sounding and they are don't sound like what I'm used too, regardless of what salesman said (he was a nice guy) comparing Big Speakers to Little Speakers of today. The little Speakers of today do sound better than the bookshelf Speakers of old and are better than Bose computer speakers. I use now. The Headphones of today are better now; I just stared getting into 250ohm models, I never used Headphones. You all are great to help. I hate to buy from a spec sheet. It might be another 20 year investment! I want to like it!
I feel like old Phil Spector with the "Back to Mono" button. Bring back the old, local Stereo Stores with people who love their product and take time to learn it. (I'm much happier then Phil Spector)
