Looks like a fun diy project in the making. I believe the listing is in Washington state. Says the bass drivers were 12”. Wish you could get a better pick of the “horn section”. 2. UPDATE: Still looking for a klf C7! Big thanks to KLIPSCHKLF and “Soundkeeper” for helping me out with a pair of KLF 20’s and a KLFC7. Was supposed to pick up another c7 on that trip to Little Rock, but after the guy agreed to sell it to me (agreed that I would see him the next day with cash in hand for his asking price) he called me back and said he decided to keep it, and would be removing the numerous listings he had had posted for months (Craigslist, EBay,Audiomart) Those listings didn’t get removed but they were updated with a new asking price of $750 for a c7 center channel!!! I guess his stock c7 is worth more than all the rest of them out there! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So anyone have a KLF-C7 out there at a reasonable price that is somewhat close to Shreveport, LA or willing to ship if I cover shipping costs? Color really doesn’t matter as long as the mid bass drivers work and the cabinet is in reasonably good condition. (I’ll be upgrading to crites tweets and Xovers) Thanks, Rooster
  3. 75$ shipped sounds fair to me for piece of mind in having a spare driver hanging around just in case for my c7’s.
  4. What’s the sticker price on one of these brand new? Rooster
  5. Would buy right now if u were within 3-400 miles. On my way to pick up a pair of 20’s and c7’s right at this moment. Rooster
  6. Are these still available from klipsch? That would probably be a place to start.
  7. I’m about to have 3 klf c7’s in my home theatre setup, so a spare driver would be nice..., what’s the going rate for one of these guys? I’d be happy to take it off your hands for a fair price.
  8. I know this is kinda last minute, but I’ll be heading from Shreveport, LA in the am headed to Little Rock, AR and back tonight/tomorrow. I’ll have plenty of room on the trip up for just about anything. On the way back I can carry smaller stuff like amps pre-amps bookshelf speakers- maybe up to the size of a pair of heresy. Picking up klf20’s and C7 from some nice little rockians! Theatre is getting closer and closer to finis! I’ll check my pm’s throughout the night tonight b4 I leave. -Rooster
  9. I happen to have a bunch of friends that are gonna be in the Pensacola/Navarre beach area in about 2 months. Still a long way from Bradenton. I also have a friend with a condo in orange beach that could hold on to em for a bit for me till I could get down there if need be.
  10. Southern boy here that used to live in Vestal, NY!! Alas that was when I was a young whipper snapper so I never had a chance to visit Audio Classics- see them referenced a lot on various forums, audiogon, etc. That’s right around the corner from McIntosh headquarters in Binghamton. Gotta be some good deals on Mac equipment up there, eh?
  11. These would be sold if you were anywhere near Shreveport Louisiana. Would you be down if I made shipping arrangements?

  13. How do the crites crossovers compare to the ALK crossovers?
  14. Would you be willing to ship the DSPeaker processor?
  15. Yeah guys, I have to say, that I have been quite impressed with the capabilities of Bluetooth to the Audioengine B1 for streaming. It was truly amazing to hear the quality that lossless tracks streamed via Bluetooth were coming through in. That’s the impetus for this post and my search for a new Bluetooth receiver/dac. I would have never believed it had someone told me, I had to hear it for myself and I am truly a believer in the abilities. Now that I know the capabilities I’m looking for that next step up in quality/performance.
  16. Big hello to all you KlipschManiacs out there, I've finally gotten my main 2 Channel system narrowed down and ready to really dial in. Currently the main system consists of Forte II's backed up with two REL T3 subwoofers to tackle and tighten the bottom end. They are driven by a Pass Aleph 30 (30 WPC) solid state amplifier connected with Soniquil speaker cables by Raven Audio and a Soniquil power cable to the amplifier section (plug #6) of an Audioquest Powerquest 2. For volume and switching duties I'm running a Classe' Audio Four Preamplifier to feed the Pass amp connected by Mogami Gold XLR's, connected to the Powerquest with a Cardas Cross power cable. For source components i have a Thorens TD 209, using Audioquest Evergreen RCA's (planning to upgrade) and Audioquest Saturn Ground Goody's, to connect to a Parks Audio Puffin, in turn connected to the preamp with Audioquest Evergreen RCA's (another soon to be upgraded interconnect). The Thorens is provided power by the powerquest and the Puffin is fed power by Furman Equipment For a CD/SACD source i'm awaiting an OPPO BDP-93 from another forum member (I'M STOKED, as i missed out on the Oppo offerings of the last 10-15 years). And finally, to the main point of this post, for a streaming source I utilize an Audioengine B1 Bluetooth Reciever/DAC connected to the preamp with Morrow Audio MA2 RCA Interconnects plugged into Furman gear for EMI/RFI filtration and clean power. The resolution and quality that the Audioengine gives me from Amazon Music HD and Ultra HD is nothing short of incredible. If you are not using a lossless audio provider for streaming music, like Amazon HD or Tidal, even for a mid-fi set up like mine you are doing yourself a great disservice. The quality is jaw dropping compared to streaming using any regular service. To that end I would like to know what streaming recievers and DACS you guys have experience with, and if there are any truly HIFI audiophile bluetooth receivers that are decently priced, (not looking to spend 1500$ 10,000$ 280,000$ like some audiophile gear can be) so looking in the 50$-800$ range. Also maybe a separate DAC that could take my AE B1 to the next level? Does anyone have any experience with the IFI Zen Blue? What about the Bludento BLT-HD? Is there an obvious unit that everyone here already uses and I'm just late to the party and need to be "enlightened"? Being able to pull from such a massive library like amazon music is an incredible convenience and while it won't replace my buying/collecting vinyl and cd's it is quite the way to demo music and access music with ease. Welcome to the 21st Century audiophiles! Also any thoughts/upgrade advice/suggestions on my system set up would be nice. My secondary system is Klipsch KLF-30's on a Yaqin MC13S (40WPC tube integrated) that i am currently gathering source components for. Thanks Guys! Rooster-
  17. Ok, thanks for the clarification. 👍
  18. I know of a sansui 5500 stereo receiver available here locally to me, though I don’t know what condition as far as operation or the price being asked. Cosmetically it looks good. If you would like me to investigate further/get pics let me know as I will be able to have it in front of me tomorrow while I’m picking up some subs. I can check function and ask about what they’re looking to get for it and send you some pics if you might be interested. If you find it will cover your needs I can get you in touch with the owner, I’m pretty sure he would ship.
  19. I’ll gladly take that off your hands as I am in great need of an sacd player. Pm me with the payment details and I’ll get you the shipping address.
  20. Wait..., for more info..., the Crites A55g is an acceptable replacement driver for an epic CF4? Who all has tried this? Is it full range to 20k? How is the performance vs. the original driver?
  21. Update: l went with the forte II’s. It was no contest, the heresies just didn’t have the bottom end to keep up with the forte’s full sound. For now these babies are gonna have some solid state love from the pass aleph. It’ll keep ‘em warm while waiting on the jolida!! Exciting times around here!!
  22. Guys you can consider this sold. I'm stoked both to get this amp as well as meet another forum member! Now back to the quest of hunting down Legend series speakers...,
