Been reading through this thread and I am also aghast at the fact that such an established well known company would not stand behind their product better...at the VERY least to supply replacement ear pieces. I have 2 sets of the m40's and both have split our ear cups but both have functioning noise cancelling at the moment. Hugh fan of Klipsch and also not happy with this one product, our 7.1 surround is all Klipsch including a pair of Khorns for the mains....but giving serious second thoughts to the headphone offering from Klipsch....starting to search Amazon for replacement third party ear cups and they are not a ton of money which brings me back to - for a small investment on Klipsch's part they could easily avoid all tis bad press and reputation bashing!
