u *******.My klipschorn are on the way.i want this new setup for my new room .

My room is been build and i want a home theater for it. My brother has a HT in the hall where he has a projector , a denon amp , klf 30 in front and Klipsch rear and center and infinity as second supporting rear .and a 15 inch sub woofer. Now that setup is way too expensive. Now i want a HT for my room. the size of my room is 27 X 15. I want a good HT and I want to buy it once but a very good one. Now i would share my budget with you guys please recommend what would u go for. My budget for now is: 2000 $ Now i have a Tv. thats it and i dont want a 5.1 system for now. what i want to start is a 2.1 then i would expand later on. The 2000 $ budget is for the 2.1 ,dvd and the amp. NOw which DVD player to buy. which Amp to go for. which speaker for front to go for . Note: Since my HT is in my room so i wont be going for a 7.1 or a 8.1. I want a very good 5.1 . thats enough i guess.

my vendor said that the rf 7 is far more superior then the klf 30 . is it so. and how much do the rf7 cost

and how much better are they compared to the klf 30. since i guess they are a replacement for them.

so are they good. how much better than the klf 30 . are they good for my room. should i go for them.

ok now i was thiking about buying the KLF 30 for my room which is 27 X 15 (length X breadth). now my vendor told me that KLF 30 has been discontinued and they are replaced with RF (something) dont know the exact model no. He told me that KLF 30 were 600 watts but these new RF ? are 1000 watts. (since you guys are experts you can figure out which model he said by looking at the watts power) and he said that these new have a chrome cone. they are costing me 2500 $. should i buy them and will they run fine in my room keeping in mind the above area that i mentioned.

how do the definitive compare with them. Definitive has got numerous awards recently and looks like the Klipschorn dont beat them . Needed comments from you guys.

the doors would be behind and the Khorns can come a bit further. as for the center. yes never thought of it . well how about i keep it behind the tv and keep it on something so it raises above the tv. i would get a table for it.

ok here is the image of my room. Keep in mind that the place of the bathroom . the storing area are fixed and cannot be changed. THe bed is in the best position . we have to keep it a bit tilted because we cant keep it straight towards the doors due to less space.THe room is long in length which is 27 Feet and 15 Feet Wide. There is this window too in the left . THe place where i kept the tv in the image is the best i guess. There is no other good space. I neeed all your recommendations as to what u guys suggest.

Thanks a lot but you missed out on the following issue: Moreover i am having my new room contructed in a month.I mean that they are making it at the moment and they are gonna complete it in a month so can you advice me on the room too. Its basically a bedroom . The size is 27 X 15 Feet.Keep in mind that i have to keep a bed in it. My com etc. Its not just a room for home theater.I am avoiding Glass in my room because they vibrate. My engineer was making two windows of 6 X 5 Feet but i told him just to make one because of the vibration. can you guys recommend things like that so i can tell my engineer to modify my room. And are the Khorns OK FOR SUCH A ROOM SIZE. my room length is 27Feet and 15 in width.

Hey Frzninvt and all the other helpful people around here thanks a lot for helping me because i am finally gettting towards my goal. Yesterday i ordered the Khorn pair and backordered the other pair because i needed your advice. My vendor told me that the Khorn has a fuse problem have you guys came across it. Moreover he is selling me the Horns for 5800 $ a pair. Is that price ok. I have ordered one pair anyway. Moreover he persuaded me to get Belle because he has them but i told him that i just need it for the center. I would be glad if one of you can tell me how good the Khorn sound in reference with the KLF-30 because i have the KLF. this is a brilliant forum and there are good people like Justin and a very helpful guy who solved my problem who is Frzninvt. Great people like dougdrake,DrWho,ygmn,chinoloco,skonopa and more but there are these Termite like Nuance factors too like Ou8thisSN. Look at this IDIOT named " Ou8thisSN " whats your problem . do you have some kind of Pain in you AS3 i guess Yes. BIg time. I know whats your probleem since i am asking for the best system for 5.1 and i can afford it easily no big deal for me and i am not making a big issue about it and i guess you cant even afford them and you are getting so much jealous that you are taking it out in this thread. thanks a lot man. Now i got it. SO the best thing is the khorn in front and in the rear and a belle in the center. Excellent pretty simple too. i will order these speakers. whats like the price range for brand new and can you give a brief expalanation of your experience when you heared the khorn. what do u feel. how superior are they. when did you first heard them.

man i dont get it. i am still unclear. tim your reply was totally useless. i want a 5.1 setup now that means 6 speakers including the base woofer. i would speak in laymans terms now. Now lets say khorn for front pair two speaker and belle in center one speaker. now what speakers for rear ? thats what i wanna know. there must be 2 more speaker for rear.

hey Frzninvt about the 5.1 setup you mentioned. i am not a biit clear on it. u mean i should keep the klipschorn as main ( pair) now center shoudl be belle OR scada and u ssaid that horns if you have corners what does that mean. what horn and what corners.i am clear about your front and center recommendation but cant figure out what u said about rear. there shoudl we a pair of rear speakers so which are the best. and yes if i get this 5.1 setup so taht would be the best klipsch has to offer right. is the klipsch horn so good for movies and one thing i saw was that its a 1948 built whats that . have they been optimizing them since then.

and how come i cant find klf series in the products. rather i seaeched for it and then found them but dont know in which category they are.

dont worry about my budget. i just want all klipsch the best. hey i am hearing about thesse heritage speakers for the first time. Here in Pakistan i heard that KLF-10,20,30 are the best. downstairs in my home we have a 7.1 setup here it is: front: klf 30 klipsch second fronts : which come like in middle are infinity dont remember the model center : klispch rc-7 rear : klipsch sets . three way ksw 15 woofer with denon dts amp and stuff

i am thinking of building a home theathre on 5.1 setup. now i want Klipsch for that all of them. so whats the best klispch has to offer. name the front pairs. the woofer. the center and the rear speaker so i should start collecting them and tell me what amplifier . I need to know the best only.

hi, first of all i would like to thank you JUSTIN for helping me out. as you know that i have a Audigy card and i have been using the pc for six years. As for my windows volume i always keep every thing to max for e.g wave volume,master volume etc. Now as i told you before that i got these KLIPSCH speakers without a manual. i just got it two days back. everything was fine. i didnt knew that that - sign on the subwoofer for the certified limit so i kept that woofer at 12-00 and thought that it was half. then as for the main volume knob i kept that on 9-10 and the speakers worked out fine even with my windows max controls. now i got a dvd and ran it . i ran the matrix scene and what i did was i kept the subwoofer to 12-00 (same) but i increased the main volume and took it to 12-00 too with a dvd and it ran for 5 minutes and i heard that noise from the woofer. now i checked the speakers yesterday for around three hours. that port noise or some other noise is coming at low volumes too now. i am keeping it at the certified woofer sign still that noise comes at some parts. well what do you think . Is it me who damaged the woofer or was it a faulty one? Question 1 now secondly hopefully i am getting a new set today . THANK GOD. now please recommend what should i do. since i dont have a manual. LISTEN i will keep the windows volume of wave and main volume to max so dont tell me to reduce that what i will do is that i will control the volume throught the knobs and i will keep it under control. so now the windows volume is max and i will keep the subwoofer level to that sign of certification and i have a audigy card . now what should my limit be for the main control knob on the sattelite speaker and what else do you recommend? Question 2 so there are basically two opinions that i need from you . one in the above para and the second in the second one. Sorry for such a long peice of writing but i wanted to explain to you everything so it will be easy for you to help me out. LOOKING for your detailed reply on both the questions. you answered my post on the port noise. well thank you. listen yesterday was the first day when this port noise came. i have a audigy card . i had the subwoofer level on 12-00. i thought that was default and i was watching a Matrix fight. now i have the volume on 12-00 too. now the scene ran for 5 minutes and i heard this loud port noise i guess from the woofer. i stoped the movie and switched off the power. i went to my vendor he didnt had a proper testing setup and he said they were ok . i came back home and came to this forum and saw that - sign is where the sub woofer should be . well now i keep it on that sign and now that i turn the volume till say 9 then i can hear the port noise. (subwoofer at that sign and main volume at 9) well is my woofer Damaged because i am having these port noise now at less volume too . what should i do > HELP ME.

hi i got my 4.1 without a manaul now. i kept my bass woofer on 12 and it gave me a port noise. my bass woofer coughed and i read a post that its port noise . well i noticed that in my front sat( one with all the controls) there is a "-" sign in the subwoofer control button . what is that. is that where we are supposed to keep the sub by defualt. i thought 12 was the default. HELp

well my bass woofer worked fine . i have a audigy card . now after two days. while i was playing my dvd i heard a cracking sound from the bass woofer like some distorted bass. i was playing just on 40 or 50 percent volume. well i went to the vendor. he said they were fine. now i hooked them up again now at some times again i hear that distroted bass sound on high level in some songs and GTA 3 ROckstar LOGO. what is wrong with my woofer . i dont ever cross half volume.

man these speakers rock. what i want to know is that what is the ideal place to keep your bass woofer. it cant be in a corner because the woofers are both on left and right . so where should i keep it?
