  1. Want to thank Bhendrix for putting me in contact with the sellers of these speakers! Couldn’t be more pleased. Arranged sale with courteous and helpful sellers, and then flew to South Florida from Arkansas to meet up with my 19 year old son (teach em what a worthwhile road trip is like!). Bought packing supplies and drove 9 hours to South Carolina, delayed by slow leaking tire. Sellers were gracious enough to stay up till 11 p.m., until we arrived. Thanked them, told them goodnight, and spent next 45 minutes in their front yard wrapping each speaker in 2 moving blankets, commercial Saran Wrap (rain?), a tarp with duct tape, and a last layer of a moving blanket (stop sliding in bed of truck) taped together. Can’t be too careful for a 12-14 hour drive home. While wrapping the speakers about midnight, a buck came out of the woods and came straight at us, within 20 feet . . . looking very unhappy. Looked at us, looked at first speaker we had just finished wrapping, back at us, then walked towards us another 5 feet. I told my son, “that buck is about to whip either that speakers ***, or ours, get to the truck”. Buck then lowered his head and with antlers down, went towards my son. Some words were said, that won’t be repeated here, and buck pulled up. After a short staring match, and one last look at the wrapped speaker, the buck snorted and trotted off. Strange things in South Carolina. In any event, priorities, so finished wrapping last speaker, and headed off for long drive home to Arkansas. Great music and conversation along the way, and, although exhausted, had the beautiful speakers hooked up and playing tunes within an hour of arriving. The Chorus will become my main speakers, moving my Forte to another room (pic for size difference). The Chorus may be my last purchase as they really seem to check all the boxes, plus some, but I must admit that the Forte are one remarkable speaker for the footprint they take up. Two great products. Klipsch community group is best place, to find great people, who love good music. Stay safe.
  2. Last try to post link: https://reverb.com/item/44655660-klipsch-kg4?utm_source=rev-ios-app&utm_medium=ios-share&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=44655660
  3. Kg4, $450 asking price. Appear in decent condition. Reverb is reputable site if you haven’t used it. No affiliation. Shoot, can’t figure out how to post link to Reverb, and asking price by seller is $450, not $400 as first stated.
  4. No longer available, sold, and I have a long road trip ahead of me!

  6. I would really like to get a very nice pair of Chorus 2’s or Cornwall 1’s. I’ve got a nice set of original Zebrawood Forte’s, but I’m looking to add a pair of speakers that I can run a bit more power through (at times) without pushing the speakers past their limits. I’d rather purchase/trade from/with someone in this group, and I know from many comments on here that quite a few members have sets of these. I know that I’m not the only person on here expressing interest in obtaining Chorus 2’s or Cornwall 1’s, and cash hasn’t seemed to motivate much interest in owners offering to sell, so . . . I figured I would use a really nice McIntosh amp as additional bait. Have a minty vintage Mac752 amp, 75 watts per channelx2, checked out by one of the best vintage gear guys in Arkansas, sounds sweet, and was my daily user until a few months ago when I moved to a 2205 amp. Few 752 amps were made, so they don’t come up for sale very often (I think there is only one for sale in the entire country currently at Audioclassics for about $1k), it’s a very nice and reasonably unique piece of Mac gear. I’m willing to travel quite a ways (400 miles, more possibly) from Arkansas for the right deal. Wouldn’t be interested in black speakers or plain birch. BONUS points if you are willing to part with Chorus 2’s or Cornwall 1’s in Zebrawood to match my Fortes! Let me know if anyone is open to the Mac752 and/some cash in trade. Thanks.

  8. That makes no sense since his ad still states the asking price is $1,400.00, and, it mentions that he can show original invoice where he only paid $4,225,00.

  10. A mere 18 hours or so . . .each way.
  11. Bobby2xs, I posted another pair I saw for sale, in the Alerts section. Higher $ as they are being sold with matching subs.

  14. I think it depends on what matters most to you. -You want to flip them? Then pass. -You want a super nice looking speaker that also sounds great? Wait for a more mint looking pair to come up for sale (3-12 months). -Listen to them, and if you love the sound, and plan to keep them for years, buy them without a moments hesitation. Dickering/worrying over $200 from a bargain bin type price versus the $600 asking price is less than $20 bucks a month over a year. You’ll get that much enjoyment out of them in a year if you listen to much music, and additional years are just a bonus. Worst case, you sell them for $400-$600, and you take a small loss. Worth it? Probably, if you love the way they sound when you buy them. Life is short, pull the trigger if you love the sound.

  18. Just picked up these beautifully upgraded speakers. Great job, quality work. I’ll be running some music through them this evening to get them acclimated to their new home. Thanks Ken, top notch!

  23. Tried to post a pic or two, but it won’t allow (gets message I’m limited to 2MB). Ah well.
