No wait, I would be really upset if you spent money to rent this! I caught it on HBO, do you have that? I'll look for Gerry. Tripod, you have a deal. I will rent "Alexander" this weekend. Forgive me if i am wrong, but isn't Alexander an action movie about Alexander The Great? You see, even though the movie is probably three hours long, i am thinking there are some pretty good fight scenes with some great Sound Effects.[]

I'll check out Gerry if you check out Alexander. Before you agree, please realize that Alexander is 3 hours.

Alexander Absolutely horrible in every regard. As much as I wanted to stop watching, I kept going, desperate to find some redeeming quality for the film. I did not. Ancient greeks speaking in Irish, Scottish and Russian accents. A story that was impossible to follow and lacked any compelling reason to do so. Disjointed scenes. Wacky transitions between scenes like it was made by somebody playing around with the editing features on their new camcorder. The entire thing was a trainwreck.

Do the posts have jumpers? Those look like metal ribbons connecting the posts to one another. If they do, you should connect to the left hand red & black posts or the right hand posts. Your current arrangement of outer posts sounds incorrect to me based on your description.

Anyone else have one of these? I recently had one installed. The unit itself was only $40 from Home Depot, and it was installed at the breaker box. I still have units for my computer and HT, but like the extra security of knowing the house is covered at the source.

Read back over the thread, and follow some of the links, and you'll see that these guys are spending a lot more than $60 and buying a lot more than a power strip. I'm not sure that I agree with the need for power conditioning in the first place (in most typical applications). I recently replaced my HK 125 with a refurb Denon 1905 and am VERY happy with the change. Perhaps it was just me, but I could never get the HK to sound quite right in comparison to the Kenwood receiver it replaced. The surround was always weak and it seemed muffled somehow. All those issues disappeared when I hooked up my new Denon. It was a DRASTIC improvement before I even configured all the settings for my system and room. So, maybe it was just me, but HK was a bit lackluster in my experience. I'm very happy with the Denon 1905 and all of its features. Love the signal conversion and switching as well as discrete on/off functions. Very handy with so many components in my home theater. CNet's review seems to indicate that the 1905 and 2105 are VERY similar, so I think I'll be happy with the 1905 too. The 3805 sure looks impressive, but it's out of my range for now. I'm definitely okay with buying a refurb. While I understand that more money will typically get a better receiver, I don't plan to get a high end unit anytime soon. It's just not an option for me at this point. Man, you beat me to the punch. Here I was reading all these posts and I thought to myself "I'll solve it all with a brick wall recommendation at the end.". Although not cheap, $250 is still far less than many of the units currently being pushed at BestBuy, et al., and the brick wall units are simply better and more robust.
