(full link is deleted) Of course the link takes you to a phony eBay login window. Also, for almost every expensive item I bid on, I get a phony second chance offer. eBay has become a dangerous place. His address checked out - I did a search and found the owner information and property evaluation info. for his address (it's amazing what you can find on the web nowadays). I got his cell phone and I will ask for the landline. What he told me so far checked out and I am convinced that he has those units. What worries me is what if he cashes the mo but does not ship. I have found some Marantz pieces that I would like to buy from someone in Denver. I requested and receive specific pictures of the actual units. I also have the address of the person which seems to be legit. My question is what's the safest method of payment (if any) in this case? The seller has a short feedback history on eBay (8 positive). PayPal is too expensive due to the fees involved. He requested wiretreansfer but I refused. Is there any volunteers in Denver area who wouldn't mind helping out with this transaction (probably just to bring the money order to him to make sure that he is legit). Any other suggestions? Scott, If you send it to Garrott Brothers in Australia (through Audiodynamics) it will cost you about $450. Another place is Expert Stylus in UK. This place will charge you anywhere from $470 to $550, depending on its condition. There is also Van Den Hul but I do not know how much they charge. Kudret

Dan, You are not alone. I had my Khorns in my basement 17' apart in the corners and I had horrible imaging. I suspect this was due to the support beam going across the room in the ceiling. I moved them out of the corners and they are 12' apart now toed in towards the sitting position which is also 12' away from the speakers. Imaging improved a lot but bass does not go as low now. I will keep them this way and build false half corners. Kudret

I am familiar with this seller. He seems to be able find some of the nicest looking high-end vintage pieces on eBay. His auctions also seem to end on the high end and in more than one occasion he ended up relisting some of previously sold items. Kudret
