  1. Yes... my 11 year old Emotiva XPA 5 that I bought second hand has Cap discharge issues on 2 of the 5 channels. My Rotel 2 channel amp started having issues, but to be fair, that is about 20 years old. Now, on the other hand, my 25+ year old Crown Comtech 1600 and several 400's along with my 3 crown k2's and k1 still work perfectly. Not a single failure out of any of those amps.
  2. Here is the manufacturer webpage with all of the info: https://jblpro.com/en-US/products/control-29av-1
  3. Here is the link to my facebook post, there are more pics there. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/8898056936981372 Mine are in the garage on a shelf about 8 feet in the air angled down a bit. I turned the horn sideways. Not ideal, but they sound fantastic for a garage setup. Where are you in Illinois, as I occasionally travel to visit family in Missouri.
  4. They are great speakers. Very natural sounding... I just wish they were in a nice wood cabinet and I definitely would use these in my house. I thought about building a nice cabinet myself, but it seems like a lot of work for something that will not really better the way they sound.
  5. You can get a replacement speaker from simply speakers or some other vendor: https://reconingspeakers.com/?s=klipsch&post_type=product https://www.simplyspeakers.com/search.html?k=klipsch Unless you are really attached to these speakers, I would say save your money and put it towards a better speaker. Your ears will thank you in the long run.
  6. Weekend bump. Looking to buy one... or sell it if I can't find a single one out there. Klipsch no longer has them for sale as refurbished units, but Crutchfield has them new for $425 with free shipping. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-G4rheNhLO7q/p_714RP8000E/Klipsch-Reference-Premiere-RP-8000F-Ebony.html

    Sorry, They are gone.
  9. Hello, If you want a relatively fast sale, I'd start at $1,000 and accept offers to make people feel good about bargaining you down on the price. If you want to sit on them and wait for top dollar, go ahead and list them for $1,500 or more. You'll most likely sell to a diehard Klipsch fan as the younger generations are starting to care less and less about good audio/video. They are watching shows/movies on their phones and listening to audio via mediocre airpod headphones and via Bluetooth on crappy portable speakers at best.
