I have been a speaker enthusiast since junior high when I built my first set of speakers from random speaker parts I bought from my neighbors garage sale!  It was an 8 inch driver with ribbed surrounds and some old aluminum horn type of tweeter.  The cabinet had plywood sides and a front baffle I made out of an old paneling remnant my dad used in the basement.

Playing and listening to music is what I enjoy in my free time...which is little to none with two young ones around!  I play the trombone and the drums.

I enjoy buying different speakers and hearing how they sound.  I also like to refinish/repair/upgrade if necessary and bring them back to looking and sounding wonderful again. 

However, through the years I have amassed more speakers than my growing family can handle, so I have a new policy of "one in and one out"....with the speakers, not the kids!
