  1. Yup! I wouldn't count on the amp working for too much longer... So I would just base the value mainly on the cabinet and the speaker and if the amp dies, you can replace with a comparable plate amp, or dive with an external power amp. Although, I do have great things to say about Velodyne's amps - I have 4 Velodyne subs that I bought used that are all around 20 years and they have no issues...yet!
  2. I don't know if this is really a "subwoofer", I would call it more of a woofer when it only digs down to 38hz. But I'm sure it will be bought by someone looking for the nostalgia factor.
  3. There's a scratched up one in Illinois for $250 on Marketplace. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1005737610466636/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A8ce21fb8-50eb-4e9a-9db1-37ed06876621
  4. I remember hearing one of those when they came out! Impressive back in the day! But, for the price they are asking for a 20 year old sub, there are many better options out there... especially used.
  5. 6. I saw this and thought I would pass it on.... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/180841024996347/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A5ce068d1-e40a-49ac-a230-7f944774cf4e
  7. I had to cut it down slightly so I could get the 11" envelope shipping rate... but let me know if anyone else wants one. I also test printed these on draft board as well... roughly 2 and 15/16" in diameter. (The one on the left still has the protective coating on it.)
  8. Rebos... Sure! Send me shipping info in a message.
  9. The title reads like some seedy Craigslist ad! But that's right, I have an 11" long laser engraved piece of swag for your audio room. It's natural oak, so you may stain it whatever color you like, or leave it as is. Free! You just cover the shipping. (My way of giving back to the forum!) I can do more laser engraving if you're interested, just drop me a line.
  10. The glowforge is up and running again! If you contacted me, please contact me again as I lost messages for some reason. ugh!
  11. The higher you list it, the longer you will sit on them. The demand for these speakers, outside the Klipsch forum, is not as high anymore, as there are a lot of speakers that would potentially match or outperform these in several categories while still being in the same price range. I always look at the eBay "sold" section to see what ones sold recently and notice the condition and price. In addition, I check out other locations to see what prices people are asking. Remember, just because people are asking it, doesn't mean that's what they are selling for. I've had many eye rolling moments when I contact someone and offer them fair market value and they explode saying that their item is selling for much higher! I would start at $1,200 on the forum and see if you get any takers. If not, then list them locally for a little bit more and see what happens. Then, reduce the price by $100 every so often until they sell.

The adapter plate can be removed if you want to convert it back to an RPW10 with the original amp plate. Also, I didn't paint it because, well, it's on the back of the sub! I do have the grill as well.

Okay, so I went a different route with this. I had an old Pro-Media THX 2.1 system that had a blown tweeter when I bought it. I'm parting that out and selling the one good speaker and the sub driver... as I never liked the 6.5 sub module... it was very boomy and farted a lot when you ran some moderate SPL's through it. I took the amp module and loaded it into the RPW10 box. Now, it doesn't sound boomy or fart when you turn it up! I'm selling the RPW10 with the pro-Media amp module. All you need to do is connect two speakers to it and you'll have a very nice computer set up or a nice 2.1 system for a small to medium sized room. I'm asking $120. Located in Big Rock, IL
  14. Yup! I already refurbished a pair that had dented woofers. 4 new OEM ones cost well over $400, so at that point, unless you're in love with the way the RF-3's sound, you won't break even when you decide to sell and move on to another speaker. I had the ones I refurbished serving as surround duty for awhile (Way overkill!) When I went to sell them, I lucked out. I found someone who had a pair back in the day and ended up selling them. Then, he decided he missed them and wanted another pair. He liked the look of the updated drivers.... and was willing to pay what it cost me to upgrade them. I'm considering myself lucky to find such a person! I basically broke even but was glad to send them off to the next owner who was really excited to once again own another pair of RF-3's!
  15. I wouldn't touch these for $100, but maybe throw them an offer... I'm sure the crossovers and horn/tweeter drivers can be salvaged. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/6609425569111777/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks
  16. Hello all, I tried finding a reasonably priced replacement tweeter for these with no luck. So, I'm offering them up to forum members, FREE! ...you just pay whatever the outrageous shipping costs will be. One speaker is in excellent condition, while the other one is just missing the tweeter. Both woofers are in perfect condition with no pushed in parts! The grills are very nice and the crossovers work as they should. The cabinets are an 8/10 showing normal signs of use. Let me know if your interested and we will work out the fine details.
  17. If I lived closer, these would already be in my possession! Unfortunately, shipping is always the deal killer! These play well with Klipsch speakers, filling in the bottom end very nicely. Someone buy these, you won't be disappointed.
  18. This one gives a nice visual of the capabilities of the screen. I skipped around in the video because I can't take U2 for more than a little bit, and Bono's singing has not gotten better with age... he's not quite as bad as Axel Rose yet, but he's on his way!
  19. I would like to see what this technology will elvolve into, as it seems like it's currently in it's infancy. It's like a tekton met a bose...
