  1. No and even if there was there like abunch of foam so there would be a hard time for something to fall past it.
  2. One of my rf7iii I can hear a rattle in one of cabinets at the bottom of it. Basically in the very bottom of the speaker. It’s not coming from the woofer it self but below that. Very saddening. My 300$ klipsch floorstanders don’t do this and I’ve had them for over 5 years. I’m sure it will ok get worse. I wonder how I could go about fixing this. Or maybe my dealer could fix it?
  3. I’m trying to find some pictures of the inside of them after everything is put in. Haven’t had them for more than a month and I’m hearing something rattling at the bottom of the speaker cabinet. Very very unhappy. It’s not very loud but I don’t expect it to get any better and I don’t know how to take the damn things apart to fix it and it would probably void the warranty.
  4. Good advice. I am very happy and content with it. It took awhile to put together and I’m fortunate enough to even be able to get all this equipment. It sounds magical to say the least and I’m just starting to break it in and really put some hours into it. It always takes some time for my ears to adjust to a new system but right off the bat I was like wow this sounds amazing. Compared to my old system it was a huge improvement and I couldn't be happier. With that being said I’m always looking to improve. Definitely look Into a preamp in the future. Also, trying to work out some quirks with my system and just get everything running perfect. For instance I had to unplug my rear surround floor standing klipsch speakers because they were getting quite a bit of static for some reason I couldn’t figure out. I tried different chords that were a lot shorter it seem to help at first but then it kind of just went right back to the way it was, so I just unplugged them all together and just use my bookshelves as surrounds. Before I was using those and my old Floor standers also. And when I plug hdmi into my computer for some reason I get a bad static hiss noise and I can’t figure out why it’s doing this. If I plug it into my lab top it doesn’t do that, only with my desktop. But I want to use my desktop because it has a nicer sound card. So right now I’m using an optical cord so I don’t think I’m using my sound cord because of that, not sure. I don’t know how that works.
  5. Ok cool thank you, what do you think would sound best, a pre amp or a tube amp? Also could I buy a tube amp that I could plug my parasound into or would that defeat the whole purpose of a tube amp?
  6. What is a pre? Where it just processes the channels and I need a separate power amp to power them?
  7. So you use balanced or unbalanced? And sorry I’m sure there’s a way to quote multiple people but I don’t know how. Do you think it’s important to use balanced in a home environment, like would I notice any difference from balanced or unbalanced? Cause right now I use unbalanced and only hear a very slight noise if I put my ear right up to the tweeter. Completely fine with me imo.
  8. Are you saying your only using 20 watts to drive your rf-7’s?
  9. O I know all about diminishing returns lol. You guys are throwing all these big word at me that I don’t understand. I am using my anthem mrx720 for processing and the parasound for power on my speakers. What do you mean source component with good material? Don’t get me wrong I am more than pleased with the way my system sounds. You guys should hear it I think you would be impressed. I’m using my computer which has a decent mother board which I think comes with a decent sound card but I can’t tell if it’s using the sound card or not cause when I’m using tidal it doesn’t have the high definition sound card selected. It says something else I forget, I’ll look in the morning. It’s f’ing amazing. But I’m always looking to improve. And I’m scared of something knew like tube amps. And how Expensive are those! Already spent an arm and a leg getting my new system lol idk about buying another tube amp.
  10. @Youthman or anyone that can give me the advice. If you are using the rf7iii speakers to listen to music, and for the scenario of home theater, do you use a power amp. If so do you use it all the time or just sometimes. I found it doesn’t really make much of a difference but some. Mine is the a31 parasound, whats your power amp. And what results have you found the power amp has brought to tour system? For me it seems to be more crystal clear almost and most definitely louder and I need to do more demos without it but would say stronger bass with the power amp. Also do you guys like the sound of it coming from your power amp more or simply coming from the avr or tube amp or what ever it is you use to drive the speakers?
  11. Thank you guys. I think the rc64iii will work best in my situation. I appreciate all the responses. As much as I’d love to have a 3rd rf7iii I think I gota stick with the rc64iii. I also wouldnt get the 25% off if I wanted to change now.
  12. I know sound is very subjective and what sounds best is usually different from person to person but I like good loud high quality sound like us all here at klipsch. What do you guys think would be the better idea, getting a third rf7iii for the center channel, or a dedicated center channel like the rc64iii? Which still hSent arrived because ups banged it up so they had to ask for another one and now klipsch is waiting to build like 80 which was suppose to happen days again but who know if it did or it it shipped out. So I’m thinking I wonder what’s the perks or just getting a third Ford stander and saying screw the center. What’s your guys thoughts? I saw some people did this awhile ago and thought about implementing it into my own system but don’t know if it’s worth replacing a dedicated center channel. Thanks y’all. Starting to get my stuff up and running and it’s really starting to come together!
  13. What would be a good power conditioner/surge protector. Looking for suggestions. Looking to spend not a ridiculous amount and does it really matter if I was to spend a ridiculous amount would I benifit from spending more money. What’s some decent ones for around 100-1000$? Thank you guys! And anything else I would need for my sound system, and good Ideas it wouldn’t hurt ingesting in?
  14. What do you think I would get the best sound quality from anthem, Yamaha, Denon, martanaz, or any other brands I haven’t mentioned. That’s no more than 2499 before tax? Or even if price wasent s problem but something that wasn’t too crazy expensive. Basically what’s has the best sound quality. I’m guessing from Yamaha anthem denon and martanaz, anthem does right? And how audible of a difference if any do you think it would be?
  15. I mean having my mains bass all the way up I hear litterally no distortion and I honestly like the sound of it at full band just as much if not more than if I set my main crossover to 40 and let my sub do some of the work. Which is what I do most of the time. I have my sub on the right side of my front sound stage. Well I mean I care. I don’t care where it sounds like the bass is coming from but I can tell the difference from sound quality from my quad 10s to my 12’ on my sub. I want to see what sounds best. And for depending on which song it is certain crossovers sound better than others. For my ears sometimes it sounds better quality when I have my mains set to full band. So I think these speakers are built to be taxed. They are huge and sending them pure class a power 250 watts of it if not more. I have not sensed and characteristics of them being taxed yet. But Believe me I have had an open and diligent ear listening for stuff like that. The dynamics and dynamic range and bass on these things is incredible. Especially for the money I paid. And I got them for 25%. I mean I could literally see them charging like 10’000 a pair and getting away with it. That’s just me Mx
  16. Well the way the dealer described it is that arc takes away bass from the speaker and send all of it to the sub. Do you still have any bass on you main left and right speaker. I mean there’s a tiny bit but I have big ten inch driver and with the bass set to 10, all the way up it was like nothing at all compared to how they should sound. I’m pretty sure it’s all set up right. The menu is pretty straight forward and so is arc once you get it set up. I called and asked the dealer and that’s how he described it to me. I guess it’s worth a try to call anthem.
  17. So basically I just disgusted our with anthem room correction it’s Takes away all bass from your main speakers and send it to your sub. And there’s no way around it I’m pretty sure without turning off room corrrction. And I was here think arc is suppose to be the best. Shit my 200$ integra room correction sounded ten times better then this. This is acually completly Ridiculous. Now the question comes do I return this. And go for a Yamaha or some other brand. Because i don’t think I’m ever gonna use the room correction and it just seems like I’m wasting money if I’m never gonna use part of the product. I wonder how much the room correction costs? But the sound that comes from it is still amazing without the room correction. What do you guys think. What would some other good receiver choices to go with? I was think Yamaha 3080. I wonder if that room correction does the same thing. Throw me some suggestions?
  18. It’s literally insane. It can go so loud like Insanley loud to the point when I’m screaming and I can’t hear myself and there’s no distortion crystal clear audio and the bass is so tight and fast. It’s pretty boss. Not to mention the bass is extremely dynamic and detailed and it to go so deep and low. They truly slam and the Power the dual 10s Have is surprising and I expected it to be intense. Also there will be so much bass and I’m looking at the drivers them selves and to be honest there not moving that much at all. And the sound stage is extremely immersive and vast. The rf7iii themselves are massive is sheer size in all aspects, there appearance imposes Dominance And commands respect. And so does there performance. But they are not the perfect speaker, I love them tho.
  19. Haha yeah for sure. Currently I have a a problem with my head and it’s causing me dizziness and headaches so it’s basically impossible to watch tv. But when I gets better I will.
  20. Omg so I just got my new rf7iii and got my whole set up except for my center rc64iii which was delayed but will be here soon. So my whole set up is the pair of rf7iii and the rc64iii with rb51ii as backs and rf52 ii for surrounds and the rc52ii for the center until the new one comes which is acually still and among center but can’t wait for my new one to get here. Along with the parasound halo a31 and the anthem mrx720. But I couldn’t get the anthem room correction to work because ever time The people that were installing my speakers we’re trying to get it to work they were doing the room correction and it was on one of the positions you had a hold of Mike and it said there’s too much background noise and it would mess up every single time but I talk to the dealer I bought the receiver from which is actually different from who I bought the speakers from and they are going to come out and try to fix it. But regardless the whole system is absolutely amazing. The sound quality even without the room correction is simply amazing. With my old integra receiver when I did surround modes I could hear static in my surrounds, not with the anthem. It’s so crispy clean, and the rf7iii are so clean and powerful and dynamic yes still Subtle when they need to be. O ya and my subwoofer is the sw112 from klipsch. I actually ended up getting the PB 16 returned which was a miracle. These speakers are so insane and I love them. They just set them up put them in the first spot I haven’t really moved them around at all and the sound is amazing I’m sure I can move them around to get even better sound but just straight out of the box plot them down the sound is still amazing. These are on a whole different level a whole different planet a whole different universe than the RF 52 ii. They can get so unbelievably loud but still be so Unbelievably clean and crisp sounding. This boys have a serious slam factor that is insane. Just started to Delve into them but I am so very happy and they were worth every penny. I could go on more but man these things are beautiful and amazing. Keep on rocking guys, love to all and good vibes to all. Thanks to everybody who has helped me with my stupid questions, it’s really helped me out. This haven’t been the most helpful and informative forum but you guys are awesome and help a lot. I’m gonna try and post some pictures and I want to write a better review soon!
  21. Thanks for all the information Michael it’s much appreciated and much needed. I mean I have enough space in my room but do you think my room would possibly be too small. My room is 17 by 16 by 22 with the hallway the extends into the bathroom, with 8 foot ceiling. I know it’s gonna be crazy amounts of bass but to be honest that’s what I want. The pb16 was nice but I wanted more! I want to be captivated! Btw awesome video @Youthman
  22. Yooo what’s up youth man. You were a lot of the reason I got the pb16 is the first place then right after I got it I saw you upgraded to jtr and was like nooooo, now I need one lol. Ya I bet that was an insane upgrade and I really want to hear the jtr subs for myself. I don’t have a screen I need to worry about and I like how the cap2400 and 4000 are more powerful down low so I think I’d rather go with those. So if the cap 4000 would of fitted behind your screen and wouldn’t of interfered with it at all are you saying you would of gone with a cap4000? I like the rs2 but I like how powerful the cap4000s down low. But then again I will probably be listening to music a lot on my system and the rs2 would probably be better for that. But I think the cap2400 or 4000 would be no slouch either. Considering I’m really going for something that’s very powerful in the ulf but also not wanting to miss out on the mids and also taking into consideration my system consists of dual rf7iiis and some other floor standing speakers for surrounds what do you think would be my best choice. I can’t believe youthman Responded to one of my posts lol I love you videos and I hope all is good with you kind sir. Thanks again.
  23. Ya I’m think about getting the cap2400 or the cap4000. But then I did some more research on psa subwoofers and noticed they have better mid bass. Which I don’t want to miss out on but the thing that I really want the most is a subwoofer that can really dig down into those low deep frequencies (ulf) like the jtr suns can do but also don’t want to miss out on the mids. My rf7iiis should be ready to set up anyway once I get my receiver in the mail. Combined with the quad 10” with the rf7iiis do you guys think that would be sufficient adequate enough mid bass so then all I would really have to worry about is the ulf. So therefore I would go with a jtr subwoofer. Also what is your guys opinion on which sub, Jtr or psa. Probably cap2400 or 4000 or the psa tv36 ipal.
