  1. Well duhh. I was giving him important information since he was considering those speakers for his setup so he could take that into consideration. Tbh I think the rf7 iii will get quite a bit louder than the cornwalls or am I wrong?
  2. Thanks for the knowledge drop. Put things in better perspective for me.
  3. What kind of price do you guys think is fair for a used parasound silver a31. They say it’s good condition with no scratches about 2 years old 8/10. I’m trying to buy it from a store and they are offering a price of 2185$.Is this a fair price, do y’all think I can get them down anymore in price?
  4. I was telling him what kind of specs and what type of room that would be ideal for the rf7iii that were said in a crutch field interview on YouTube is what I was thinking. Also the 7s are only 5 db less efficient and at 100db Efficiency That’s quite amazing. I would say 5db isn’t much more efficient, but I respect your opinion and to be honest I feel like you could go with quite a bit bigger room with what was said. I still feel like you would get more bass out of the 7s but I’m not quite sure and I think it would be close either way. Just my opinion and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the 15s put out more bass. But I thought he was talking about the cornwalls where did la scalas come from. Those 15s have got to be amazing I want to hear them so bad.
  5. Really, you think it would be noticeable. I just think it’s a lot of money to spend on a power amp for not even that expensive speakers. I mean ya the rf7iiis are quite expensive but relative to what. It’s just like the power amp is like more expensive than the speakers at this point and it’s like is that really Necessary. Also it’s used so that’s scary. But if I could get the price lowered a little bit more and there would acually be a noticeable improvement on the sound quality I think I would be onboard because I love klipsch and I love these speakers and I love music and movie and good sounding sound and I haven’t even heard them yet and what ever I can do to make them sound better I want to do. I just don’t want to break the bank doing it. Because this has definitely turned out to be a whole hell of a ton of a lot more money than I ever thought it would of been lol. But I pulled the trigger on the speakers because I got them for 25% off also. And I got my sub for 500$ off and I might even get my center for freeee333. I guess I should of put more thought into it before I bought them but I guess more goes into it than just buying three speakers and a subwoofer 🔊. Gosh almighty it’s been a journey thus far let me tell you lol . Thank you for your advice it really helps!
  6. Ya the CW are amazing. I’ve never heard them but don’t have to to know that simple fact with those specs and with klipsch reputation. Ya that 15” boy is intimidating. But you put those two 10” boys together of the rf7iii and it’s 20”.. 🤪😏
  7. You could go 5000 cubic feet with a pair of rf7 iii said in in crutchfield interview on YouTube. Those speakers are absolutely insane with a power amp. Dual ten inch woofers will possibly put out more bass than the Cornwalls, not sure. So that would be 40” of woofer compared to 30”. Idk that’s just my 2 cents. Man I would love to hear those Cornwalls, Now they both have there pros and cons and it basically comes down to personal preference. Rf7 iii will probably get louder. And tbh you will probably still want a subwoofer. I mean the cornwalls will probably put out a wonderful intense amount of bass along with the rf7 iii and I’ve seen plenty of people say hey I don’t even need a sub with these. Cause hey that’s 2 10” woofers moving a lot of air and some say a sub wouldn’t hurt. Haven’t done as much research on cornwalls but just comes down to personal preference and if you love bass and it’s important to you you will probably still want to subwoofer with the cornwalls. But you could get by without one. I’ve heard tho with the new hereseys that you once you turned them up past a certain point it was kinda just all of the horn and no woofer so he had to add some more power to it and after that it fixed it. You tuber is zreviews. Idk if there would be the same problem with the cornwalls but I would assume so. Sorry hope that helps lol.
  8. Right it’s just slot of money and I don’t know if I would even notice a difference in sound quality and the fact that it’s used is concerning. Do you really think it would be worth it. Would it be noticeable? Also do you think that’s a good price of the amp? They said condition 8/10. Or do you think I could get them to bring down the cost some more?
  9. Hi guys sorry I new here. But basically I bought a pair of rf7 iii floor standing boys and a rc64iii from a local authorized klipsch dealers. They have a used parasound silver a31 power amp with a price of 2185. Now I was very interested in the parasound but it was out of my price range and frankly I still don’t know if it’s worth it to me to spend an extra 1000$ to get this amp instead of the emotiva. The emotiva seems like a very reasonable good amp for the price and I wanted to ask some of you respectable knowagable speaker klipsch folk to see if it was a good deal on the parasound. And if it would be worth it to get that power amp over the emotiva. What are some of your thoughts. Thank your guys so much. My speakers are getting here at the end of the the month so I’m trying to hurry and pull the trigger and everything and pull everything together so I can have it ready by the time they get here. I am also getting a new receiver and an think about getting the Yamaha aventage 1080. What are your thoughts on that receiver and any good other suggestions. What are some thing I should know before I buy that receiver and what kind of sound does Yamaha bring to the table, thank you. My current system is rf52ii and rb51ii which I will be integrating into my new system. So it will most likely be a 7.2 or a 5.2 with a svs pb16 ultra and a klipsch sw112. Thank you guys so much and sorry again for I am knew here.
  10. Isee. So I’m not 100% what receiver I’m getting but I’m gonna text a couple out when my speakers get here at the end of the month. Or I guess I could text them out now with my old klipsch speakers blehhh. But I’m gonna but the emotiva xpa 3 gen 3 3 channel power amp for my front three rf7iii and my rc64iii. Is there any other kind of amp or processor or dac or Just extra step, whatever that would be smart to pair with the power amp and my receiver and the speaks that would be a good idea just to help everything run smoothly and everything sound amazing??
  11. Right I catch your drift and appreciate your recommendations. Just trying to find some of the best matches for klipsch speakers. What klipsch speakers like to be paired with the most I guess.
  12. I like the sound of that cause I love to listen to music maybe more than movies and imo more important than movies. what are some of those other companies that focus on Music first but do both quite well.
  13. Ok well I got it all plugged in and the green light came on in the front and I head a tiny bit a bass from turning it on. So that’s a good sign I feel accomplished thank you guys so much
  14. Is that cord I have ok for that sub. I can’t remember if the is the exact cord that came with the subwoofer or not.
  15. Ok so I can see on the right side it look like it’s red on the metal part. So that would mean I put the red one on there right?
  16. Is this even the right cord, I think this is how I fried it in the first place cause I used the wrong cord..
  17. I’m sure I want to spend the money. I’ve talked with audio solutions and they said they could let me try out any of there receivers in my house to see how I like them before I by them. I love my little integra but I think I’ve already damaged one of my speakers because I didn’t have enough power going to it because ok the right floor standing speaker I get a distortion on it now. Also I want to be able to play these bad boys loud. Yes they are very efficient speakers and the horns on them are amazingly efficient but those dual 10” woofers are gonna take some power at high volumes. I don’t want it to be all horn and no woofer. Also I just am simply ready to upgrade everything and not half *** it.
  18. What do you mean it didn’t post? Can I just try either way and which ever way works I’ll just leave it. I talked to someone from an audio store and they said it shouldn’t damage the sub if I was to put it in the wrong slot at first. And what writing, those are twisty ties for the wires.
  19. Ok so I’m almost positive I’m going with the xpa 3 gen 3, and I’m pretty interested in the brand Yamaha for the receiver and I like both the rxa880 and the rxa1080. Or I’m interested in the anthem mrx 520 but the only draw back is it’s only 5.2 and I really want at least a 7.2. I’m really up for anything at this point, I’ve been trying to take in as much information as I can but I feel like I’m LD it’s actually quite frustrating cause it’s just hard to understand what the heck all this stuff means. Also I can learn other peoples options but not really get the opportunity to hear it for myself without putting forwth a lot of effort. Like I said I’m up for suggestions. I just want these babies to sound amazing and I want the best possible brand receiver that will mesh perfectly with these type of klipsch speakers. I guess I haven’t really looked into Dennon that much or onkyo or integra and integra is what I have now and I actually love the sound of it. What other receiver brands are there?
  20. Basically I don’t know which side the black and red wires go. Does the black go on the left side or the right side. I wrote this stuff down but my girl friend lost it smh 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨.
