  1. Hello All: I was the person that sold the LaScala’s in St Louis from a craigslist ad I had posted. They actually sold for $2500.00, not the listed price of $2800.00; but the price drop was only because the gentleman that bought them was a passionate heritage Klipsch fan and I offered to sell them for exactly what I had in them after talking to him for awhile. He never once tried to work me backwards from my asking price. He was my first of MANY calls on these speakers. I still own a pair of the LaScala ll ‘s, in a walnut finish.....amazing speakers. In my opinion I feel the music industry gravitating back towards quality produced music again...and there’s not a better speaker that can reproduce this than a Heritage line Klipsch Speaker. In St Louis I’m seeing kids in their teens and early 20’s buying turntables and albums. I think it’s wonderful, I grew up listening to albums. Happy Listening!! Cheers
  2. I have a couple RF-83 drivers laying around. I also have a couple drivers for the RF-82’s and the RC-64. I also have the crossover’s and a few other components for the RF-83’s and RC-64 and the RC-64 ll’s. In short- I toasted a couple drivers in my RF-83’s and was forced to buy a used pair a few months ago to replace the two blown ones I had. That left me with spare parts needless to say. I did the same thing about 5 years ago with some RC-64’s I was using as voice speakers in a home live music scenario. The two RF-82 drivers I have are a result of me hoping I could use those to replace my toasted RF-83’s. I instantly could see they weren’t the same driver and never installed them. Not only is the impedance incorrect but the mass of the magnet and voice coil clearly separate the two visually if you put them side by side. Best~ Brian
