I have the 8000F's and I'm very pleased with them, haven't hooked up the 504C yet but just these two alone really shake things up.
*Watching "Lovecraft Country" at 62% volume made the couch's shake, I hadn't even hooked up the sub and was watching with just two speakers, phenomenal !

Playstation 4 has the app, it's quite good also
Firestick also works, not sure how you would hook that up to your receiver, that is on you.

I had the same worries on setting up my system i have a S960H which is a step-below what you are going to get and have been told by many people not to worry about the power consumption as long as your not turning it all the way up.

Just wanted to share a deal i got from Sound Distributors

Hello,
I'm in an odd scenario where I have to test my AVR in a different room with my speakers and I'm wondering if i hook them up in improper spots will this damage or effect the power output/speakers ?
* I've placed the power handling levels below i hooked it up to as a 2.1 connection and i'm blown away by it and seriously considering using it at 60% for the long haul.
* My AVR right now is 90W per channel 7.2, it doesn't allow for bi-amping and was a gift so i'm stuck trying to see what i can do in the meantime while my main seating room is being repaired.
DENON AVR-S960H 7.2 CHANNEL 90-watts (into 8-ohm, at 20-20kHz, with 0.08% THD, driving 2 channels).
125-watts (into 6-ohm, at 1 kHz, 0.07%, 2 channels).
185-watts (into 6-ohm, at 1 kHz, 10%, 1 channels).

I bought a Denon S960H, it's light on the pocket compared to more power hungry AVR's
This still sports a 90W per channel load and has all of the bells and whistles that higher end AVR's have.
I'd agree with everybody else on looking for the features you need.
*What i recommend is going to Crutchfield and using their "Price range" sorter on all the brand name models

When you go over the Spec sheet on the Klipsch website (on the bottom) you can see what their impedance level's are for compatibility with the AVR.
Crutchfield has an extensive learning center page of what to look for in a receiver, anything high end is going to cover what you want.

Most newer televisions can upscale, so if you want a receiver that has that option you'll have to research it, the S960H can't upscale but my LG C9 will cover that.
Looks like you'll have nice clear music and a booming home theater, next step is banana plugs, sub-woofer cable, cable gauge 99.9& oxygen free copper 14-16 AWG depending on length to your speakers this is a jumble.
I got 12 Gauge for the Front-Sub-Center-Bookshelf speakers and 16 Gauge for my elevated speakers since the wire will go into the walls.

Thank to everybody for replying, i actually got the Monoprice cord 12 AWG Oxygen free 99.9 % and the GearITPRO for the ceiling speakers and future patio ideas.

I just wanted to get peoples views on proper cable wire perspective's on my initial buy (BELOW).
The cable wire that i got i had hoped would cover the whole set up and an out-door patio area set-up in the future.
* My initial thoughts were that the CL3 rating would help against oxidation
* Rolling Stones stated they wished the polarity signals were more pronounced but I don't know what that means.
* Everybody on here states that if it's Oxygen Free and 99.9 % then it's a go ahead but i was wondering if i could get some thoughts on this.

Hooked it up to my two 8000F's and Sub, the sound was amazing, the chants from the crowd to the music and clashing of swords and tiger snarling was phenomenal.
The movie is already a classic and miles ahead of other studio offerings, can't beat this movie when compared to others in it's category.
When I get my 4K TV + Theater set up the first movie to watch will be Man Of Steel
*I get chills during the flight scene, want to experience it with the full set-up in atmos, fav scene of all time !
