Almost spent too much $ on some beaters the other day. The more I looked at them, the more damage I saw. Patina was pretty though, but wasnt going to over pay for beaters, and drive 6hrs 1 ways.

I have heard a couple pairs of cornwalls, and 1 pair khorns. I have read a lot of people building the reflex bin just to help with the bass. I listen to everything, from Abba to ZZ Top. Edm, earth wind fire, coltrane, pink floyd and led zeppelin, and loads of other stuff. I love the look of la scalas, but havent listened to a pair yet.

Just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Daniel. I have a wife, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a hobby of collecting hobbies. Ham radio, cycling, music, disc golf, and air cooled vws are my primary money wasters. Found klipsch speakers pretty early after getting back into home audio. First record player was a console at 12 or so. Used that until I moved out at 23. Found a 80s rack system on the street a few years ago. Used it until the whole electronics started to go bad somewhere in the thing. Put it back on the curb a couple years ago. Decided to buy a turntable to get back into audio after buying a house last year. Now I have a 1200mk2, concept 4.5, and marantz LS-15A speakers. I feel that the speakers are the weak spot, as the woofers were replaced before I got them. I wont have much useful audio info to share, but have already learned a lot from this forum. Yea. Missed it by a few hours. I understand that the people who have them, dont really want to get rid of them, and when they do they go quick. I have a 2 year old girl, and 2 pitts. Super mint isnt in my pocketbooks vocabulary either. And I know I am new here, just havent taken the time to get an intro thread going yet. Hopefully this evening.
