  1. Give them some time. For lack of a better word mine became richer after time passed. If you can find it listen to Dr. Chesky's Binaural Journey Through the Soul. I use Spotify and it is there. Amazing recording. BTW thanks for the update.
  2. Dayum...that's commitment. Looking forward to seeing them up and running.
  3. Host them off site and post.
  4. Even though entry level they're still Klipsch. Enjoy and please post up your findings. I'm curious on what others think about them after listening to mine for a year.
  5. I love that grill covering.
  6. I have to say the R-610f surprised me. Bought sight unseen on price and Klipsch reputation 'cause I wanted to hear my new to me Fisher 440T. Not disappointed. They're not top shelf however the sound is detailed and soundstage spacious with a good recording. Been considering a sub but don't know what would actually improve the sound w/o too much $$$. Chesky's Binaural recordings are what really helped me with position and tuning my set up. My friends think they are high dollar speakers 'cause of the sound and size. I tell 'em I got them for $304 shipped and get doubtful replies. It's OK I know the truth. I do want to move up the line but until I find what I want these are fine.
  7. Overcast 43°F breezy w/occasional showers.
  8. If a pair of LaScala is affordable I'd say go for it. Even if they're not for you no money will be lost they are an investment.
  9. That wasn't turned up past 10 O'Clock. They are typical Klipsch efficient. Not heritage efficient but 94dB. More than most. They lack deep bass (but are surprising for what they are) but have more top end than I do ears.
  10. I have a pair of R-610F powered by a modified 1965 Fisher 440T (38 WPC) receiver. I'm happy with them for now. To be honest they surprised me for $304 to my door. Here is a video from my iPhone when I first got them. Not the greatest recording but beats a blank.
  11. Not sure whether you'd like the music but try Stripped by Macy Gray. Recorded in a church in Brooklyn with a single microphone. The sound is very detailed and stage is surprising to me. Kinda jazzy for her.
  12. Sorry my finances aren't up to your standards. I'll try harder.
  13. Right now? ice by Crack The Sky.
  14. Nice to see Heritage speakers appreciated for how good they really are. While I don't own any yet I've heard them. My ears are old and the differences between old and new may be lost on them. A nice set of Heresy like yours is what I seek. And maybe a pair of Belle.....Klipschorns....LaScala. Well you know how it is.

    Miracle whip

Never cared for it. Another Duke's Mayo guy here.
  16. Sounds like a good reason to mortgage the house to me.
  17. Been using Spotify for about a year. Happy with it so far.
  18. Nah I already have Peacock,Netflix (niece's acct.) and Xfinity stream. And I don't use that very much. Just not a thing for me. But like westcoastdrums I cannot be w/o music. I did listen to it for about 10 years via shitty computer speakers, Last year I just had enough and picked up my Fisher receiver a Fluance cheap turntable a Schiit DAC and some Klipsch speakers. Nice to hear it the way it should sound. Now if I could just find an affordable pair of Klipschorns........
  19. 62 and never owned a TV. Not to say I haven't watched TV just too cheap to purchase one and then pay to use it. I occasionally check out stuff online but not a regular happening. $100+ monthly for something I haven't the time to devote to it is just out of the question.
