and that audiophile op-amp is less than a dollar.
For the price if someone wanted a new tape player it’s probably a better choice. Fiio seems from my experience to make decent stuff.

More follow up, I just got off the phone with the folks at JEM performance. They still rebuild crossovers so I will send them mine and they can make sure everything is up to snuff. I can solder but this way they can inspect everything and replace / correct as needed.
Not sure I could wait that long!

I would want to hear them before buying. Look for pealing/delaminating of plywood, dinged corners, water damage, etc.

If you need to replace the binding post replacements are easily found on Amazon. Do you know how to solder?

The only stable Windows I have had is Windows 3.1. All the rest have had multiple flaws. Including updates that made the system unusable.

I went for 3.11. I had a small network in the house and my shop.

It would be nice if Microsoft would create a Windows for old people that was as reliable as a fork and knife.
JJK
If only Windows was that reliable in general.

Do these drivers have alnico magnets? What restoration work should I do on these speakers?
If everything works then just listen for a while. You may not need any restoration.

Good day,
I am looking at some speakers for sale with the following information….just trying to make sure they are legit, and not counterfeit Klipsch speakers. Can anyone provide any insight?
Here are the numbers provided:
P/N: 09000431121
QRT OAK OIL
S/N: 108944 & 10945
W/O: 22760 (this may be “22/6U” it’s hard to read on the label.)
the label says manufactured by Klipsch and associates
P.O. Box 688
Hope, Arkansas 71801
Anything special I should be considering or aware of with these speakers? Appreciate all of your collective wisdom!
Pics? I mean it seems to be Quartets. Pics would help. Those of us that have owned them will help.
