  1. Greetings all! Super clean, all original, near mint Chorus Iā€™s in Arcata CA up for sale. Grills have badges and they have sequential serial numbers. Moving to the East Coast and driving across the states. Need to see if they will fit with all my other gear in the ride, but if they do I am driving down to Bay Area next weekend and may be able to bring with me to meet someone who would like to purchase. Driving to New York the following day so anyone along I-80, I-40, or potentially I-10 may be able to drop them off if there is room in the ride
  2. Thank you @Jeff R for that info and thank you @Outrider 6 for the photos. Big help and much appreciated! Looking forward to opening these up on Sunday when I go to check em out, fingers crossed they are wired thru the fuse. Congrats on the score Outsider, hope those KP450s treat u well, those are some beasts!
  3. Thank you @Jeff R!! I really appreciate that insight and information! Definitely scratching my head over these.. Thinking I should be able to utilize these with the 1/4 inch jacks if the are wired correctly. Anything I should be on the lookout for with the wiring when pulling the input panel off? Should the 1/4 jacks be going straight to the crossover? Crossover going to the different drivers with the highs going through the fuse for protection? Anything I should look out for regarding the custom inputs bypassing some crucial gear? Thanks again for your time and help with this!
  4. Apologies if this is in the wrong topic section of the forum. Just noticed maybe it is better off in the Technical/ Modifications section of the forum? If so please let me know if I should repost it there or if a moderator feels it would be more appropriate in that section of the forum please feel free to move discussion to other topic area. Thanks and apologies for any inconvenience.
  5. Greetings Fellow Klipsch Lovers Looking at buying some KP201s locally and am curious about the custom inputs on the back of the speakers. Looks like the previous owner installed some 1/4 inch jacks on the back for the input and I am curious if anyone can shed some light on the following points.. Asked the current owner about the details and he had no clue said he got them from a musician.. 1. Being this is a passive speaker, how would a XLR input work? I have never seen XLRs used for passive speakers, only for active speakers or connections from mixers to outboard gear/ rackmount gear, etc. Is this used to pass signal from one speaker to the other and not to power it? 2. Has anyone ever seen 1/4 inch cable inputs installed on the backs of speakers like these? I''ve seen them with factory 1/4 inch inputs but not with custom installed ones.. One of the speakers has the banana plugs ripped off so I am worried about them being able to function with the custom 1/4 inch inputs.. 3. Anything I should look out for regrading the custom 1/4 inch jacks? If I take of the input panel should I make sure that the 1/4 inch jacks connected to any specific internal components (the crossover, fuse, or anything of that nature)? Anything else I should look out for? Thank you so much for your help and time. I have been after a pair of these for quite a while and would like to buy these if all is alright with them. Sincerely, Selector Z.
  6. Running a solid state Macintosh MC2505 I got from @The Dude along with some Cornwall I's and am in heaven MC2505 is the first amp they made after tubes, can be found for reasonable prices, and is a gem in my opinion. Pushes a rated 50 WPC (more than that in actuality) but should be plenty of juice for your room and the efficiency of Klipsch speakers. Wishing you music bliss with your purchase/ decision. Cheers!
  7. Greetings family! Wanting to purchase a pair of kp201, kp301 or 250s for a sound system I am putting together. I am located in Humboldt (Northern California) but am more than happy to drive 8-10 hours each way to secure a pair. Many thanks and tremendous gratitude for any help! And the beat goes on šŸŽ¼šŸŽ¼ - Selector Z
  8. Would anyone in the Florida area be willing to help ship the 250s to me? The seller accepted my offer but then realized I was in Cali and isnt sure about shipping them. I know its a long shot but you never know
  9. Will do! I am piecing together a speaker stack to play outdoor events and am getting close! Have some folded horn 18s for subs, now just gotta find some kp301s to go the simple route. Would be nice to get lucky and find some MSSMs, MSMs with MTMs though! Might build squaker and tweeter boxes and use parts from Crites if the first two options dont manifest. Feeling stoked!
  10. very interested, these still for sale @smashwuf???
  11. Made the drive from Humboldt to the Bay Area yesterday and am happy to say I am the new owner of these! Seller of the ebay listing had them on Craigslist for months and lowered the price to $100 for the both of em šŸ˜µ. Couldnt pass these up! I have yet to string them up, fingers crossed they are good to go! I lovvveeee Klipsch and this forum!!!!
