  1. Wore it out didn't you? Just a heads up. @74 you're officially runnin w/the devil when I'm around. Left of center? Always! Fun watching your posts in here. You're learnin! For me it's just therapy! 😂
  2. Yup, just as I expected yesterday. AC ran allll nite properly and I woke up at 11:45. lolol Not much happened in the hood. Got the yard mowed before the front that came thru last night. Some nice rain to knock the wildfire smoke down a bit. Mid to upper 70's today sooo we'll see what the day brings.
  3. That ain't gonna happen w/him cause he's still butt hurt! 😂
  4. Life's a golden time but the 70's? Yikes. Hooked up w/a couple chicks one of which married one of my besties. The other? Yea, we hung as close friends but not me. Last I heard she was living like the old lady who lived in a shoe w/about 15 kids. Comprende? They were college roommates and used this as their theme song. Once in a while I throw it down just for the grin. Such a great song in addition to the rest of them on the lp. Sing along time for me! Waters runs just like water. Sometimes he's hot and sometimes he's cold. Me thinks it's another wallet rape but I'll nose. I will say his "The Wall - Live in Berlin" is truly an amazing lp. Wish I could have been there good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3umuFldCSrw&list=PLCWR7cftUj6STJIidfI3zTYKCyRpoSiCS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UObAnJSHtEg&list=PLCWR7cftUj6STJIidfI3zTYKCyRpoSiCS&index=2
  5. Might just have to let a friend know who lives in the Springs. Be one heck of an upgrade for what he has now. Thanks!
  6. I jumped right into a pair of LS then picked up an older pair of Heresy. Zero regrets. Began w/a pair of ESS AMT-1's years ago then a pair of Infinity Reference Standard 2.5's, which sounded great w/the EMIM ribbons. Today I'm very happy w/my old LS. They beat an air fryer every time when it comes to cookin. I'd be lookin for a pair of LS or K horns if I were you. Welcome Home!
  7. @JohnJ don't chomp down on that cyanide capsule just yet. Let things marinate a while cause it always sorts! 😂 Now to check my lottery ticket from last night. Then I can make ANOTHER trip for that coveted 3$ ticket for tonights drawing. People coming outta the woodwork here buying tickets. It only takes one. A 3$ winner always torques those high rollers so there's that! 😂
  8. The old diabetic hasn't really had a beer in 20+ years. Maybe a Heineken once in a while or a TALL glass of scotch neat on spatial occasions. You're spot on though. Schiit happens and ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
  9. Ha, the old guy just found one of the best bands in Ohio on youtube and didtn't even know they HAD a youtube video. Ya wanna go on a ride? You can run it all if ya want or ya can jump to about 13:00 and buckle up and ride it to the end. Ekoostik Hooka out of Cbus have been around for years. They're good, darn good and have a great following. Do Hookaville a couple times a year w/camping tons of other groups but they're the draw. It's a fun time for sure whenever ya get to see 'em. One of the best gunslingers around imo is Steve Sweeney. He does his thang and can and has run with Warren Haynes & Bob Weir. This clip is nuttin but trust me he'll take you on a ride live. Enjoy! Midwest tour plans for next summer so keep your eyes open and thank me for the great time later. That's nuttin honey!
  10. That looks killer! Every Christmas a local farmer who worked w/me would bring in lamb to share. His family raised lambs for years takin home the coveted blue ribbon yearly @ the county fair. lol His girls and other kids who liked those lil lambs @ the fair were always welcome to come out to his farm and help raise them for their 4-H project. Great family of just good people. He had finally got me to try it years ago and I was amazed at how good it was. Every year when I was out on my Christmas walkabout he made sure to save me some. It quickly became the first stop on my hit list. Good stuff especially w/those red peppers on the bread. Slept till 11 this morning after having two last nite before bed. Maybe I've found something better than melotonin, which doesn't do squat imo. lol Sure looks good though.
  11. That's a plus for sure in today's economy. An area rich in heritage has a coolness factor, the views would work too. Food courts would be fun but it sure would be a summertime bummer w/all the rain. Once you get the gear there you could hang in your happy place. That's what life's supposed to be isn't it? Just that one visual though... The learning curve you'd have to adapt to. Otherwise, it would be a cool life adventure w/the one you love. Simple!
  12. It'll spoil ya for sure then ya get the electric bill. Have a floor fan in here running on the hot days. Wasn't putting out much air last year to took it apart and cleaned the back cage. Never saw so much tumbleweed in one place in my life. Works fine now. lol. I'm out. Gettin weak. lol Ni ni!
  13. No central air in this place but I think every other house here in the hood has it. Wound up buying a window unit for the bedroom last year. I fire that up if it gets too hot to sleep. Lately at nite it's been driving me nuts. Thing just wasn't running much after the initial cool down. Starting and running 30 seconds then quitting. 10 minutes later same thing. Tonite I went up nosin and somehow it was set on the Economy setting. Test run tonite so might be in bed til noon tomorrow. Fat people sweat a lot! A/C makes ya soft!
  14. Sleep is over-rated. Anymore I go til I drop before I get a good nites sleep most of the time. I'm lucky if I get 8 hours in a row. Almost midnite and I just ate two red peppers. This ought to be good.
  15. From the looks of the weather out your way just forget the fire and sit it outside for 30 minutes or so. lol You should be out of sarongs soon me thinks. Could just go nekkie and get a few looks. Start a new fad in the hood. 😂 Lil rain came thru last nite and I did get one Powerball number right on my $3 ticket. Things are looking up!
  16. After that run MORE coffee! 😂 Thompson's cookin too!
  17. Milli Vanilli? The lip synch dudes? hahahahaha https://americansongwriter.com/on-this-day-in-music-history-milli-vanilli-confess-to-lip-syncing-their-music/
  18. Maybe a fb troll farm has infiltrated youtube. lolol
  19. Nuttin but a bunch of old heathens! We've seen a thing or three though!
  20. Always fun when I walked into a venue back in the day. The first thing I did was look to see what the band was runnin for sound or what the venue owned. I knew I was gonna get grabbed by the nads if the band was runnin Klipsch. Always my dream system. It wasn't about veneer or Duratex it was about all things worldly that PWK brought to party. Today I fire thigs up and I know. Always fun havin someone walk in and leave shakin their head at what they just heard. Even better when someone tells me they just bought Klipsch ANYthing. They learned sumpin from my lil road trip I took 'em on. Just sharin the love like PWK did.
  21. @the real Duke Spinner Nice idea for a thread. Bands and their names always make me wonder and shake my head. Don't think my ex took too much of my vinyl but she did shuffle up about 40 feet that were in order. Some missing but who knows where it could be. Gone, stuffed somewhere out or order? Blah. So many fond memories during the 3 years it took to sort again. 😂 💪 On the bright side of the deal she and her mom loved Barry Manilow so I picked up most of his stuff thinking she would listen to it. It's still sittin here if your interested. I'll cut you a deal. Local buddies started as kids and have been together for 50 years. They're great and always pack the house. Here's a name to thunk on. "Sinister Midget." Crazy but their legendary around here. They throw down some serious rock and roll. lol
  22. All quiet in Duckburg. County fair starts today, which is always a hoot when 'dem farmer's come to town. The downside? Time to lock down cause some of those travellin carneys will be on the prowl. The cops will stay busy but by the time they're onto something the thieves are long gone. More wildfire smoke heading in thiis week, which will be another treat for the lungs. Can't wait to see the lumber prices go up again. On the other side of the coin the coffee's good. Carry on.
  23. @sunburnwilly Great and they kept warm while pullin it off!
