  1. Not sure if this is the photographers fault or a Klipsch employee but it looks like the speaker is missing a floor button and it also looks like one of the rubber grill protectors got stuck to the face of the speaker. This is from the online marketing. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. I recommend Sonarworks 4. It also has a wet/dry feature so you can tweak how much correction you want. I do not have big speakers though and run off a Surface Pro. Also just a thought, you asked if thats what we want, flat etc. Unless thats how it sounds good to you, I would say you just want it to sound great to you whatever that may be. 3. There is one thing that concerns me about the 4's, probably not a big deal. But they are 1/4 in shorter putting the mid range horn even lower. I use Sonarworks 4 and the main thing I notice when I turn it on is that the mid range comes up off the floor a bit. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. Why must I want the 4's! I thought I was done when I bought these, Metallica sounds glorious! (The III's are so good) Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. If I had to spend an extra $2300 I would keep the III's as well. That being said though the manufacturer has come out and said they made the speaker better, so do we stop trusting them? I would not buy the IV's or the III's for that matter if I did not trust Klipsch. It is all marketing starting back with the I's. Again, not worth $2300 more but that doesnt mean they will not be better, everyone will just need to decide for themselves if they are worth it to them. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. I pre-ordered 3 weeks ago, the III's are being picked up when the IV's are delivered. (Thank goodness for 60 day return windows!) Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. I have the Mani and it sounds as good as anything else I have ever tried. (Mostly vintage recievers and a brooklyn bridge). Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. I will probably never sell it but I will think of you guys first if I ever do. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. No, but I am going to try it out sometime. I will likely get a local shop to make me one. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. Guys I cranked these, with some Blackened by Metallica. I was there at the concert, what a glorious experience. I want more, I think I need Cornwalls. These went loud and stayed crystal clean, the detail and texture never went away. It got just a hair boomy because I had them tuned for a lower volume, If I pull them from the corner they get less bass. They pair amazing with SS, I keep reading that you need a tube amp, I disagree, you need a cleat spounding well made amp. Anyways catch ya later. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. Spinning some Kraftwerk, sounds so good. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. Moved the speakers closer the corners of the room and the bass got deeper and punchier. Thanks for the advice. They sound incredible, I know haventhe Klipsch bug. I am torn on returning them for the Forte IV and am even thinking about Cornwall IV, my electronics are pairing nice. I believe they sound a bit broken in now but im not a huge beleiver in that, but man moving them closer to the corner made them so punchy. Im just so happy. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. I think it is oak Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. I will take a shot when I get back home. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  15. After looking up oak from your suggestion it does look like that. That may well be what it is. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks for the tip, not an ideal room but I do plan to experiment some more after I get more use to the sound. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  17. Just wanted to share a picture if my system. Got these Forte III Ebony edition and they are a killer upgrade to complete my system. These speakers sound crystal clean and have so much detail. They do give that live sound feel and with this amp the bass kicks hard. I listen to everything but love metal, metal sounds perfect here. Classical/80's Synth Club type music/Jazz it all sounds amazing to me. Does anyone know if the veneer on these is real Ebony wood? It looks like it, they look stunning in person. They have a fine instrument level of detail and finish to them. Thanks for checking it out! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
