  1. Out of curiosity, why selling? I love those RF-7 III's.
  2. Someone was selling a pair of RF-7 III's on AVS Forums.
  3. Reach out to Steve at Paducah Home Theater. Don't think you'll find a better deal.
  4. I owned these but never opened them. Ended up going with the RF-7 III's. I hear these are fantastic speakers for their price.
  5. Would be a horrible decision. Would benefit you in no way.
  6. Anybody in Chicagoland here still meet up? I live in Campton Hills, IL.
  7. I can't find any horizonal (or vertical) dispersion maps for these speakers. Are they wide? Narrow? Anyone know where to find those?
  8. I bought my RF-7 III's for $1000 each. Now think about adding $950 in parts, which doesn't include the labor. You're now talking about doubling the price of the speaker. That's like buying a pair of $50 computer speakers and then spending another $50 for upgrades for them. If you want something that costs that much, then go spend that much on something else that meets your needs. Otherwise, enjoy the speaker for what it is (and it's pretty awesome already). I guarantee that any RF-7 owners buying the snake oil never had a complaint with their speakers until then. But hey, if you're big on GR Research, maybe you'd like their speaker packs. Got great reviews at ASR. 😆 GR Research LGK 2.0 Speaker Review | Audio Science Review (ASR) Forum
  9. You're talking about speakers that are really not used that often. If you're budget minded, just get the cheaper version and you'll be very pleased. They're both good for Atmos.
  10. I know the III's are still selling well, but wondering if anything is on the horizon. Was it 7 years or so between II and III? Should we expect the same from III to IV? Just curious if anyone has heard any rumors, and where/when you think we would hear about it first (CEDIA 2023, etc.). Also, what do you think needs to be changed or updated on the next version? More blocking/bracing? Larger horn (like the RP- line)? Crossover changes?
  11. Buy once, cry once. I have RF-7 III's as my LCR.
  12. Brand new, sealed, never opened, in original packaging. This is not ‘B Stock’. Full warranty. Can deliver in Chicagoland area. $3950. You can look up all the details online. Link: AVR-X8500HA 13.2 Ch. AV Amplifier with 3D Audio | Denon™
