  1. For sale is a restored yamaha pc-1002 power amplifier. The following were done: On the electrolytic capacitor board, I changed the 30+ year old capacitors with the best quality Nichicon Fine Gold Capacitors. About 17 or so in total. The main two power/filter capacitors measured well so I kept them in. I also changed a few of the film capacitors too. Bias and Idle Current was set to factory specifications. I re-soldered a few bad looking solder joints. This is an excellent amplifier for home or professional use. At home in stereo mode it offers 100 watts effortlessly. It has that typical yamaha sound - clean, transparent, and uncolored. The bass, midrange, and high frequencies are excellent. Pair this with a solid pre-amp or a decent DAC and you are set. I can demonstrate it in stereo mode. For professional use, this can be switched to mono to pump out 300 watts! Yes, 300 watts. If you are a DJ or a stage musician this is also the amp for you. Cosmetically it’s a bit dirty, but if all you care about is sound it’s 100% functional. Also has balanced XLRs This is my Ad: https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/ele/d/glendale-yamaha-power-amplifier-pc-1002/7331940288.html I'm in Glendale, California (los angeles), and I'm willing to work out a deal with anyone.
  2. Well I ordered them, so I'll let you know!
  3. Hello everyone, the Klipsch KG 3.2s are my first Klipsch speakers. I do love them, especially after upgrading the capacitors from the bob crites website. They made a difference! Now i am wondering about their tweeter upgrade/rebuild for the KG 3.2. Has any one done it and if so, was there a noticeable improvement? Yes, i know. Why not upgrade? Well, these speakers are great for the space that i have, and one day when i'm in a house i'll get 5.5s or Fortes.
  4. Excellent working HD radio tuner. Pulls in stations well. Picture shows a local HD radio station well tuned it. Another cool feature I'd that it has digital out. Meaning you can hook this up to your external DAC and enjoy HD radio in even more quality. I've tried it with KROQs second HD channel and it made a difference. $50 is fair for both of us. PayPal friends and family or local meetup. Shipping is possible. Sangean HDT-20 anthony.popovic81@gmail.com Photos here https://offerup.co/AANkLOndCfb
  5. I priced it at 400 on ebay because of their fees, i really only want 300 for it. You can email me, or if you want we can talk over the phone. About ebay, it now seems that you have to manually EXCLUDE countries that you don't want to ship to.
  6. It's 300. I can get a custom quote for shipping to united states
  7. Yeah it's mine. I cancled the sale. Some guy outside of the united states tried to buy it. Which i didn't want.
  8. Yamaha’s best kept secret is the MX-830 power amplifier. Forget getting a super expensive AV receiver or high end integrated, this combo is better. It hits hard at 170 watts per channel in 8 ohms, and can handle speakers down to 2 ohms. And has three speaker outputs. It was TOTL in it’s day, and is still amazing now. The sound is impeccable and you’d have to pay thousands to match or beat it. It has that typical yamaha sound that is uncolored, clean, detailed without being bright, and extremely neutral. So if you feed it bass it will produce that bass! You can expect a super faithful reproduction of the source material. It would make the sound recording engineer proud. This is an affordable alternative to a yamaha m-80 or m-85 amplifier. I cleaned the pots, and set idle current to factory specs. i can demonstrate it with my klipsch KG speakers. I am in Glendale, CA (Los Angeles). These ROCKED my Klipsch KG 3.2s and rattled the walls of my apartment with its bass. I am firm at 300. In person meetup cash, or paypal friends and family, or you pay fees. Shipping is available, i can try to get a custom quote, I imagine it would be around $80 for most of the united states. Email me and then we can talk over the phone. anthony.popovic81@gmail.com - Tony.
