does anyone think 1982 Cornwalls are better than 1975? in what aspects? I like that mine have access from the rear, in case I need to upgrade the crossovers. Any opinions? Also how do CW2 compare to CW1?

I have 1975 Cornwall in Good condition. Comes with original grills, recently treated with lemon oil. Sounds amazing! Saw in person but haven't heard, they come from a Klipsch heritage collectioner, I checked a couple of crossovers inside of the Belles and they seemed in pristine condition.

I mean saying worthless to Belles and Cornwalls and Heresy is clearly lack of understanding of what Klipsch community cares for. Besides in my opinion AK5 is a deadweight. They are huge and intermediate model, very hard to sell at 10k+. Unless you wanna buy them chief.

She is just overwhelmed and wants to get rid of the lot ASAP. I'd like to offer her to store and sell at the highest price possible including the ones I am going to buy from her, transfer all proceeds to her account net of the costs to me.

Well this is originally my thread, and I didn't want the original seller to see this conversation. I went and saw the lot, but the space was quite limited so we didn't unpack anything, I just took a look at a couple of boxes, haven't even had a chance to check if the crossovers seem alright

Hey I figured, checked the garage sale items found the original seller. FYI none are NOS, mostly MINT however. I thought in the beginning it was a steal, but then did some research and I will barely breakeven and that is if I sell the AK5s at 80% premium.. The rest will be sold below the prices she quoted in her thread.

GUYS! I was just offered to buy an entire Heritage lot consisting of 7 sequential mint pairs, 1 KH AK5 OO, 3KB OO OL WO, 1 Heresy, 1CW1 OO, 1CW 2 WO. The price is 20k to me, my costs of moving, storing and selling will be around $1,350 including 3% sales fee I will be paying to paypal as a seller. should I pull the trigger?

I already installed them, they are very versatile, you can still use raw cable by replacing the screws in the other hole as well as with banana plugs and still with spade connectors. great stuff, amazing matte gold finish. thank y'all for the tips.

Definition: I put on albums I listened for 100s of times from the early 2000s and I heard so much new detail, I haven't before. Again listening at low volumes, my preamp at 30%, M504 doesn't have pots, it is incredibly powerful, so much authority BASS: deep, extended, smooth, presence!

I was about to say, I've been jumping from genre to genre. I know for sure that my M504 needs recapping despite it makes every speaker hooked to it shine; now with Cornwalls it is an entire different story. I just put 'Inflation Field' track from Roly Porter's Kistvaen album, and it shattered my room physically and myself emotionally, immediately as tremors ran through the space I got goosebumps. Not even sitting in front of the speakers. it is magnificent.

I am lucky because I enjoy music at lower volumes and as such it has been quite pleasant so far. But I have some plans to convert a couple of room dividers to acoustic panels to stand behind the speakers. that wall is where I watch stuff at night so I can't really put anything in the middle.

Hey Shakey, I know but my ceilings are 16ft and no matter what I did around the space, i decided that the real solution will be with the ceiling treatment, and since I don't own the place I am intending to hang heavyweight elevator protector blankets, the quilted kind.. I hope it helps with the acoustics
