  1. So I added a photo on the original post above, depicting the settings that seem to sound best to me. On the back of my R-112SW sub, I set it to LFE with 180° phase. I'm sure there will be those saying "you're doing it wrong" but I'm not claiming it to be right, just seems to sound better.
  2. I also have the RP-504C and I've been running everything on 80Hz, been pretty confused on crossover settings. Switched the center to 60Hz and I agree it sounds crisper and more cinematic.
  3. Hey all! After reading several articles in this forum, I'm still confused as to what my receivers crossover settings should be set to and If I should run my sub on LFE or not. I've played around with everything on 80hz (THX) and while there is a lot of punch, the towers just are not as crisp as I remember a set of Klipsch being in my younger years. I enjoy my music of course, along with my movies. My system is 5.1 and thinking of adding a couple more to make 7.1, but my receiver is capable of 9.2 Any insight would be greatly appreciated, so thank you in advance very very much. Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR787 Fronts can be set from 40Hz to 200Hz or Full Band Front Height (Atmos) 40Hz to 200Hz or Full Band Height 2 (Same) Center can be set from 40Hz to 200Hz or Full Band Surround can be set from 40Hz to 200Hz or Full Band Surround Back (Same) LPF of LFE can be set from 80Hz to 120Hz or Off Sub: R-112SW Front: RP-8060FA Center: RP-504C Rear Surround: RP-500SA and thinking about adding my Cerwin Vega AT-8's for the mid surround, just not sure if that would be compatible, they are 8ohm though.
