  1. I just take a look at the portion you mentioned. I first thought the top was glued to the sides. If not then remove six screws should be easy to handle. Now I have to wait for DaveA’’s SMAHL DE120 to restock. Thank you sir
  2. Thanks sir for your suggestion. I was thinking about drill a hole thru cross bar. Hole big enough and precisely on β€œtop” of the screw head so screwdrive shaft can fit thru. Will study to see which way is easier to execute 😁
  3. Hi all, I try to upgrade my existing K77M tweeter with SMAHL DE120 Upon looking inside, I see that I can access to 2 bottom screws of the tweeter, but the top 2 screws seem to be blocked by the top brace cross bar. If you’ve done this task, could you let me know how to remove the top 2 screws or any other ways to do so? TIA
  4. This is the wheels I ordered https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B5WN6QR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 B version which support up to 160lbs which is overloaded with our 180 lbs KHorns. Still works fine for me
  5. 2 sides per speaker: 39.25” x 16” 1 tail board per speaker: 39.25” x 9”. Weather strip goes along 2 edges of this board and top side board Note: side board need 45 degree cut to meet tail board, other edge also 45 degree to have flush edge with grill side. You also see I build the cart on 4 low 1” wheel for easy move around and to ensure bass bin completely seal at bottom This board is 31.5” x 24” time two (another 4x8 plywood). This is option Hope this help and good luck
  6. The enclosed build turn out to be great, more than expected Same location, same set up, KHorns produced more low freq and much louder in compare with my CW iii The enclosed cabinet boost I would say around 50% more low end in compare with non-mod Location measured at center of speaker, 4.5ft away from corners and 10.5ft apart Cost: one 4x8 plywood $70, one quart of Duratex from PartExpress (one layer, one side) $45, 20ft of window shield strip $20. I used brad nailer 18 gauge. Let me try to post some pictures Thanks to everyone responsed Happy listening
  7. As of now, 2 side boards and 9” wide tail board are cut and paint with duratex, along with braces. Will put together and give it an audition to hear how good is the low freq goes. Was thinking if I increase the width of tail board, would increase bass bin volume might help low freq. I noticed the new AK6 has wider board. I already bought a pair of SVS SB1000 pro if the modification did not yield good bass Thanks
  8. Yes, I saw Volti process. Want to start out with bass bin and go from there. I might skip the remake top hat part since looking at them from front will not see the size β€œmismatch”. Can be reversible if I need to resale with original design Thanks
  9. Hi all, I currently own β€˜82 KHorn and would like to build an enclosure just like latest AK6 I need the dimension of the back board width. My existing back board is 9 inches wide. If you own a pair, could you send a minute measure the width of the back board I see the Volti work but no dimension listed. Thanks in advance Thuan
  10. Possible to buy Cornwall IV tractrix ports to add to my CW III? Just for clean look. Thanks Thuan
  11. Yes, the whole DFW Dallas/Fort Worth area only has one store with Heritage line: DeVance Electronic Lifestyle
  12. Sorry - this is my third post, I'm new to this forum. Thanks for the link Thanks @billybob found only one dealer which carry Heritage line, and they have Cornwall set up πŸ™‚
  13. Hi all, I'm in search for demo on Cornwall IV in DFW area but could not find a dealer with this set up. Please let me know if you know one available for audition Thanks
  14. My experience with Heresy IV - I first check youtube review about Decware SE84UFO 2wpc tube amp $995USD, put in an order but waiting list is long, atleast 1.5 year waiting. Then I found Alan Eaton 45 monos tube also has about 2 wpc. Order from him is better, ready to ship at $1400 a pair plus shipping 2 wpc but it sounds so good and loud - I use about half volume to reach my normal listening level Both amps have volume control, Decware has 2 inputs. Eaton amp is wonderful sounding - should match your Cornwall 102dB sensitivity Happy listening
  15. Hi Angelaudio, I just purchased a pair of Monos 45. Alan Eaton told me that this monos produce 2 wpc. Yes, I saw youtube mention 3wpc, but I'm more with Alan himself - Mate with my Heresy IV and they're a match made in heaven. On Hersy IV, it beats all other tube amps I currently have: Cary CAD-805 monos (50wpc), ARS Sonum (30wpc), TAD-60 with SET bias (10wpc), Atma-Sphere MA-1 OTL monos (100wpc). This monos 45 has zero volume at 12 o'clock position and max at 10 o'clock. I'm listening at 4 o'clock with satisfy sound level Very happy with my finding on this product - was on 1.5 year waiting list Decware SE84UFO2, cancelled it and jump on this 45 tube type
