  1. I dont have Atmos speakers. So the 402s will be used as surrounds
  2. Hi anyone has experience with linlai eh6sn7 tubes or Sylvania 6sn7 GTA short bottle chrome tops ( green lettering black base) tubes? Planning to use either of those for my Schiit Freya + preamp to run with my Klipsch 6000f. My pwer amp is XTZ A2-300. Hope to hear your views. Thanks!
  3. Hi All Am thinking of purchasing a Schiit Freya + tube preamp. My power amp is XTZ A 2-300 (150 watt into 8ohms). My fronts are Klipch RP 6000f. Anyone who has a similar set up with a Schiit Freya preamp running with Klipsch speakers care to share your experience if it would be a good pairing. Also do share the tubes used in your Freya +. Thanks.
  4. Am toying between getting Klipsch 402s vs Klipsch 500M as surrounds. My living room is small 10 feet by 10 feet. My sofa is backed against the wall. So the speakers will be quite near at the back wall say 2 feet above my ears at the corners. The 402s are dipole while 500M are direct radiating speakers. The 402s costs $300 more. Wish to seek your experience which should I go for. Currently my fronts are Klipsch 6000f driven by Onkyo RZ 830 AVR and XTZ A2-300 power amp for HT. Appreciate your views.
  5. Thank you all for your valuable inisghts. I think I will keep my klipsch 6000f as the consensus is the the Heresy is much better for 2.1 music listening and not HT. I do music and movies somewhat equally so retaining my 6000f sounds logical. Plus my room is small and 8000f may be an overkill. Perhaps I will consider 402s klipsch surrounds to replace my jamo floor standing surrounds. You guys just saved me some quid. Thanks so much!
  6. I wish to enquire from klipsch enthusiasts out there if its worthwhile to upgrade from my klipsch rp 6000f to klipsch heresy IV. I use my speakers for both music and movies. My equipment are as follows: Music Klipsch RP 6000f Xtz power amp Musical Paradise Tube pre amp Movies In addtion to front Klipsch 6000f fronts have Jamo surrounds and height speakers Klipsch RP 600 centre channel speaker Klipsch 10 inched subs Onkyo 8300 AV receiver Just wondering if I would get a substantial upgrade over my music stereo listening and movie audio if I swap my 6000f fronts to Heresy IV. Always have been intrigued by the Heresys. I have a small living room. Say 10 feet 4 inches by 10 feet. Listening position to speakers about 7 feet. Its gonna be a considerable investment. So hope to hear your thoughts if its worth it Appreciate your views. Quote
