I am working with a client to sell three pairs of La Scala speakers. These speakers to the best of my knowledge have always been used in a commercial environment. They do not have crossovers, and were tri-amped directly to each driver. They have a typical speaker finish (black painted ply finish, plastic edges and corners), and have some holes in them from being rigged and hung from a ceiling. In my shoes would you: A. obtain crossovers for the speakers, install them and sell them as full range speakers B. sell them as is I have tested all drivers and need to replace one tweeter. I've been told the speakers were refurbished approximately 10 years ago, and the insides seem to indicate that. Thanks for your input!
